The difference in performance between an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 5 is HUGE.
After having an iPhone 5 for couple months I sold the iPhone 4 realizing even jailbroken, I would NEVER go back to it, EVER !

I find it hilarious that the person that is the most active in this forum and seems to know the most about jailbreaking isn't even using a phone thats jailbroken

I guess the iPhone 5 really is that much better. :)

I've been using an iPhone 4 with a smashed screen since Oct 2nd, and have been waiting for the iPhone 5 to be jail-broken to upgrade. Going from original iPhone jailbroken on OS 1 (Apptap), to 3GS, to iPhone 4, the iPhone 5 looks to be the best upgrade by far (substantially lighter and thinner, larger screen, Siri, LTE, RAM and processor boost, etc).

For those saying to wait for the 5S, what exactly would it have?

-The processor is already so fast that the large majority of apps (i'd say 90%) don't need that power, or simply can't use it because they also need the app to run on older processors.

-I doubt any weight/dimension changes would happen, as that would obsolete all cases that were just updated for the 5.

-Any more RAM would be a simple waste.

-Who the heck would need 128gb on a cell phone? A retina tablet I can understand.

Maybe a longer battery and better camera would be reasonable, but does that justify a $100 jump from the 5 to the 5S?

The iP5 is worth upgrading to if for no other reason than to have a fresh new phone. Beyond that its just a phone, nothing exciting.

It's the upcoming new iPhone that's likely to be a far better model.

Well they are not going to release the same phone and call it the iPhone 5S. Something has to be upgraded. Who needs 128gb? They said that about 64gb. Lol. What you need for storage is what everyone else needs also? No one needs more? I can't want 128gb?

So are you saying there will be no updated 5S? Just curious. So no 5S, we are done with updates with better stuff other than the camera and battery.

Another vote for waiting for the next model.

You've lasted this long without it, may as well wait a bit longer :)

The worst thing that can happen is that you decide on an i5 after waiting for the i5s. I say wait.

It'll be faster, lighter and have a slightly bigger screen. For me, not worth it. Not even the 5S if it's just a spec bump as usual. For my uses the 4 is fast enough as it is and the size and weight are ok.

I guess iPhone, like most other smartphones, are now at a level where pretty much any phone is fast enough, has a decent enough battery and display etc. They really have to try harder to get me to buy a new phone.

from i4, i4s ... yes it's worth to buy the i5, i5s

but wait the i5s, having an i5? c'mon!! will be the same with couple changes.

those who says the i5 is a s***... that they will wait the i5s, i laugh in their ******* face
