I think this is a purposful leak by Apple to distract everyone from the many issues and moans about all of Apples other products.

I mean, who is moaning about iPad WiFi issuea right now?

Who is asking hwere the new MBA is?

Who is asking where the new Mac Pro is?

The answer to all is NO ONE.

Clever move about... very clever indeed.

No cease order because they have implemented the leak themselves.... they have probably used the money they would have paid lawyers to do that to silence the few that they have let in on the secret!

Thoughts?????

PS the Magician comment refers to magicians using distraction to convince the audienc eof the magic...!

not apples style, but anything is possible...

I want to know.. does it have the A4 chip in it?? is it 1ghz? if not, apple failed. plain and simple.

Actually, there's plenty of people rightfully complaining ("moaning", "whining", "crying" as some would disingenuously put it) about all of the above regardless of some new phone or another. It distracted those who are easily distracted and/or have nothing better to do in a day. Nothing more.

It was stupid marketing to advertise new 4G iPhone if Apple want introduce new iPhone to public. Usually Apple will officially announce if they want introduce new product and they will keep it secret until the major day..not like this way.

Exactly. I still don't have iPad in Forum Spy.

If I understand your broken English correctly, you're saying that Apple wouldn't release or leak a product this way. I say...."WRONG!" How could a prototype make it out of Cupertino, or how could pictures leak from a testing lab...because Apple lets them. Nobody would risk their job to leak something that nobody believes and Apple wouldn't even given someone the opportunity unless they meant it to happen. I agree with the OP, the timing is perfect...too perfect.

Clever no, manipulative (like the illuminati)...YES

Tell me you don't equate Apple with the Illuminati?:eek:

+1

This leak is great and all. But what really counts is on the inside.

Exactly - this is not THE iPhone 4G. I can't imagine apple having exposed screws on the bottom of the phone like this.

That being said, it might be A 4G iPhone for use on the Verizon network. I can see Apple producing a premium, sext 4G iPhone for use only on the AT&T network and a more industrial looking, less sexy version for Verizon.

Why do u spread such lies?

I think the OP is right.
Think about it....
Apple spent a few thousand dollars on building a decoy that would totally throw us off. One that has been torn apart and actually has enough working parts in it to totally deceive us.
Op, you really nailed this one. Good work.

That's statement is very shortsighted. Pure and simple.

What if it's a custom A5 running at 750 but with a 50% increase of IPC.

Judging today's processors based on clock speed is foolish. Clock speed is the least important of factors in todays CPU design world.

It's suspicious that just the right person "found" this iPhone. Most people would find this and think "Gee, a free iPhone!" Then, once Apple remotely wiped it and they couldn't get it working again they'd put it in a drawer and forget about it--never recognizing that it was prototype. However, that did not happen not only did an apparently tech savvy person find it, they realized it wasn't a cheap Chinese knockoff.

I'm not saying its not real, just that the OP is right to question how this find came to light.

all three versions of the iPhone have had exposed screws at the bottom...I'm looking at the exposed screws on my 3G S right now....Verizon is not getting an iPhone this year and they don't have 4G ready to roll out yet

+1 This is along the lines of what I was thinking. The majority of people would not know about online forums dedicated to rumors about upcoming Apple products and such. This would have had to be a perfect huge coincidence, or a well placed intentional leak.

iChat inevitable

Woohoo! Camera on the front solves any doubts I had about the iPhone getting video chatting. Awesome!

Remmember the recent report of Steve and Google COO sitting around talking in a coffee shop. Steve was over herd saying "they will all see it soon anyway"

I agree this is a new form of gorilla marketing used by apple to Hype the Hype.

Yes, you got it. This is the Verizon model.
The AT&T one wont have any screws :D
