Hi there!
So, a few weeks ago the rear camera in my iPhone 5 stopped working (autofocus stuck at about 3m away from the phone, blurry images etc).
I bought a replacement camera, and just when I was about to replace the broken one, I noticed one thing:

There's this silver, plastic piece on the flash LED (old, broken camera):

Meanwhile, the flash on the camera I ordered looks like this:

Can I somehow pry that silver piece off and attach it to new camera? Is it held on some kind of adhesive?

I have no idea, however, perhaps the ifixit web site might have an answer: www.ifixit.com Look up the take apart instructions for your iPhone and see if you can figure it out from that.
