Can someone adapt those screenshots to have the same blurred effect than when I use Siri ?
Is it also possible to have a .psd file ? It would help me when I'll want to change my wallpaper while keeping the same blurred effect.

Thanks in advance :)

Can you please post a screenshot of how it looks when using Siri? I don't use iOS 7, so I can't see it myself.

Please post a screenshot of it, and I'll mimic the blur effect for your wallpaper and try look into creating a PSD you can use aswell.

How is this?

I can't make a PSD just like that, unfortunately, as the blur has to be applied to the image itself and cannot be a separate layer so you can just swap the wallpaper you want to blur.

However, you can get my PSD here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/339773/Siri blur.psd

In the PSD there are 2 layers, the top one is a semi translucent black, and the bottom is your image you want as a wallpaper but with blur applied. Simply make sure the image you want for the wallpaper is placed BELOW the black Overlay, and then apply Gaussian Blur to the wallpaper image (via Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur, I used 80,0pixels in this example).

I hope that's good enough, and if not, just ask and I'll try explain or help again :)

@dsh3 : It's absolutely great ! Thanks a lot ! :)
I've got two questions:
1. Did you use a 50% opacity for the black overlay ?
2. I use Pixelmator and when I try to reproduce the Gaussian blur, the edges of the layer 1 are totally translucent (cf. screenshot). Did I miss something ?

I'd be eternally grateful if someone could clean this image up for me. I'd love to use this a lock screen but my nun chuck skills are not that great.

not the best quality...

Hey tiggger, in another thread you made a minion one with a lime green background...I was wondering if you could do that same exact thing except just change the soccer jersey to a Mexico national soccer team #18 jersey. Trying to surprise the wife with that one for her new iPhone.

this what you're after?

No problem :)

1. I used 45%, but when looking at your original image with Siri blur I'm guessing closer to 50% opacity would probably make it even more accurate.
2. That I cannot help you with, sorry. Don't know the program, and all I did was apply the gaussian blur in Photoshop. :)
