Does it make any difference if a 6+ wallpaper is used on a 6 or vice-versa?

You will possibly lose a little image quality on a 6 wallpaper being used on a 6 Plus as it will have to be sized up to accommodate the larger resolution of the Plus and can possibly become pixelated if it is a low resolution image to start with. The screen resolution of the 6 is 750 x 1334, whereas the screen resolution of the 6 Plus is 1080 x 1920. Going the other way is not a problem. Reducing the size of the image will do no harm to it. So a 6 Plus image will fit a 6 just fine.

The only time a real issue will show is when you might want an exact image placement. Like shelf wallpapers. They have to be pretty much specifically built for the particular phone they are being used on. Hope this info helps!
