I am the owner of an iPhone 6 for more than 3 years, I kept it on iOS 10 and it is still working very well. Will not upgrade to iOS 11.
I have been thinking about upgrading to a Plus model for some time...then the X came out.
Has anybody done the same jump? I checked out the X in the stores and the screen seems in between the regular and the Plus size phones.
I am 50/50 between buying it or just waiting until Sep...is FaceID fast enough or is it better to wait until the 2nd iteration? Performance wise I think the X will be very fast (coming from a 6!).
I don't mind the notch, I don't watch movies on my phone as I have an iPad for that. I am worried that the X Plus will be a bit too big...
Thanks for your help!
I've owned a 64GB iPhone 6S for a bit over two years now and been happy with it, but regrettably I did upgrade to iOS 11. It didn't really introduce much that was new, and my battery life suddenly dropped by around 20%. Really like the fingerprint recognition which

have dropped so soon after having implemented it. I won't upgrade it to iOS 12, or maybe it will be called iOS XII.

Since there is a new version of iOS each year and a new iPhone each year you would think

would have things in sync by now. I've come to the point where I use very few of the new features, and DEFINITELY hate the removal of the jack for ear pods to listen to my tunes. Tried a friends

bluetooth ear pods and the sound was poor let alone the fit just wasn't there. There is no way I could use them in the gym as they'd fall out all the time.
By the way, after iPhone X what will the next one be called? iPhone XI, iPhone Y, iPhone Z, iPhone 11

I must have missed something as I can't figure out what happened to iPhone 9. Whatever it's called I think

have themselves in a bit of a pickle.
Also still running the late 2011 MacBook Pro with 8GB and still works fine although once I went Sierra, my MS Office for Mac and VMware Fusion slowed it considerably. Although the build quality back in 2011 was far superior to the current stuff that is being marketed, plus it's got this feature in it's design called magsafe! Oh magsafe, where art thou? Was there really no room for a magsafe connection? It's a laptop, not a laptop with a dongle for this, a dongle for that. In the last couple of months I've actually seen two new model MacBooks kicked to the floor in Starbucks when someone's tripped over the power cable. Unfortunately on one occasion, one of them didn't survive the fall. Oh, how I really miss Jobs now.
