One of the best things the Note 4 has that the iPhone should have implemented was a smaller bezel. My brother has a note 4, and even though he has a bigger screen his phone feels smaller than my 6+.

Overall both phones are great and I think it just comes down to preference in OS.

Insults with a smiley face don't cut it.

Anandtech is a highly regarded site and sure all these things can be picked apart. you certainly are entitled to your opinion, even if it goes against the universe.
While anand is very highly regarded, lets not forget that anand took a job at apple. Apple is notorious for cutting off bloggers who are in any shape or form criticize apple. Look at all the people that get exclusive access to apple, are apple apologist like Walt Mossberg, Kara Swisher, David Pogue. You will never hear any of those people even think about saying anything negative about apple. The list goes on.

What's your point? Anandtech is fudging the results because they are afraid of Apple? What do "Apple apologists" as you call them have to do with anything. Seems like a non-sequitur to me.

Well if there was nothing to take away from my post, ill say this, those reviewers wont say anything negative about apple. Im not talking about the 6 plus and its battery life per se. I am talking about their attitued towards apple in general. Do you think for a moment, that apple would hire anand in any capacity had his site been any negative about apple? Again, not arguing about 6 plus and its stellar battery life.

Uh hi, Anand retired from journalism entirely. He's no longer a staff member of Anandtech, and has been replaced by someone with no connection to Apple whatsoever. Anandtech uses scientific data; there's very little 'opinion' in their reviews. I really don't see how you can possibly make that connection with a straight face.

If anybody thinks Anandtech is biased, they really need to step away from the industry of phones altogether or just stop talking about it because the less misinformation, the better.

You mean the widely known unreliable GSMarena testing who doesnt even disclose their testing unlike other tech websites, And how most other battery tests from other tech websites dont really line up with GSMarenas results?

Yeah, its too bad even though you handpicked results you were still hard pressed to find anything good

20nm Apple A8>>> 28nm S805, this is obvious, the general consensus agrees and shows the 6 Plus on average has better battery life, this is obvious by just looking at the spec sheet, the 20nm Apple A8 is noticeably more power efficient then the Note 4's S805, and also the 6 Plus gets almost double the gaming battery life of the Note 4, while having better GPU performance and longer sustained performance from the Plus over the Note 4,(note 4 throttles back way early, and performance goes down)

6 Plus has better browsing and wifi battery life times, offers almost 2x longer battery life when gaming also and has the Note 4 also beat on standby time while the only advantage the Note 4 has is a little longer lasting battery life in video playback only...so how exacty again does the Note 4 have better battery life in day to day usage?

Both still have stellar battery life though and are great

Aren't you ashamed that you blatantly lied and made stuff up. Go read the anandtech note4 review again.

- For Web surfing battery test using LTE note4 and 6+ give about the same score.

- For GPU and 3d battery life test - game related (gfxbench and basemark 2) note4 is better in gfx and for basemark 6+ is better but only by 25%.

What a load of crap when you said 6+ can do double the battery life of note4 in gaming. Now are you going to give excuse that Anandtech is bias and made up data to discredit 6+?

You have lost all credibility.

Exactly. The Note 4, though a little wider than the IPhone 6 Plus, was shorter. And it definitely felt more compact and less top heavy. I'd trade the dimensions And ergonomics of the Plus for the Note 4 in a heartbeat.

Your question is one of the most popular of late and there are many threads on it. Try these:

If you skip through the squabbles you should find some good information.

Since we do have a lot of threads on this topic please use one of these to continue the iPhone vs. Note discussion.
