One of the sites conducted a blind test and the iphone won against the competition. I guess it's all how you want to conduct your testing.

Not compare with current phones

my bf has s6 and i think it takes better pics than my 6s+ but it seems to be that s7 can take even better pics. very tempting but down, back to the ground, i still use my dslr with a suitable L-lens when i take photos. i use only my phone to take random shots... it is missing too much compared to a dslr. sure phones takes nice shots but... photos are just dull and the lens cant achieve as much as a good lens with a dslr.

Hmmmm looked at the different scores and overall the iPhone neither comes in first or last, so I'm not sure what this thread is all about.

Interesting comparison though, but maybe try next time without this silly clicky baity headline.

Edit: just noticed the final score. Yes, last indeed but my comment stays valid I think.

I agree with some and disagree with some. Camera phones are not dull, but you are not going to be able to duplicate a shot for example, using a 1DX and a 35MM II L, with any cell phone camera with a photographer who knows exactly how use high-end equipment. Having said that here is what imore said:

Eeurgh the 6S Plus camera needs work. I value the camera feature veery highly and these results almost make me want to switch to an Android. However I have other factors to consider. I can't say I'm too keen on the iPhone's colors compared to some of the others. Oh well at least it's always with me and I hardly ever miss happy family moments.

Thanx for posting...always good to read tests like this.

Blind tests take some of the voter preference away, leaving it about the photos (one hopes).

Good reading...(and pleased that the 6s did reasonably well). According to AndroidAuthority, the 6s won 2 tests, and 3 others at #2. Not quite #1 but ok.

I note though that the Samsung s7 wasn't in the group. Oh well...maybe next time.
