Another device to look out for is the Meizu MX5.Xiaomi no contest. The One plus two will be probably some cheap plastic build.
Xiaomi Mi Note specs:
Snapdragon 801
5.7 inch 1080P
3GB
16/64GB options
13 megapixels rear camera
4 megapixels front camera
370-450 dollar
Xiaomi Mi Note pro specs:
Snapdragon 810
5.7 inch 1440P
4GB
64GB
13 megapixels rear camera
4 megapixels front camera
500 dollar
Alot of people say Meizu MX4 copied the style of the iPhone 6 when they never saw the MX3. Their 2013 flagship before the the iPhone 6 was released. The MX4 had a good design and for only $325. My only concerns is really MediaTek and Flyme OS. But MediaTek have been getting much better over the years and we can always add a different ROM to replace Flyme.
The MX5 is looking to be metal and with micro-sd card. And another good value phone from Meizu is the m1 Note series. Both gens go for under $180. The m1 Note 2 isn't released yet though. I am fairly up to date with the Asian scene but the Chinese and Indian scene is still ahead of the Philippines market. I just barely found out about InFocus smartphones.
I knew about Meizu as far back as 2008-2009 before Xiaomi was born. I believe not Oppo/OnePlus will be Xiaomi's biggest rival but Meizu. Xiaomi vs Meizu will be the biggest Chinese rivalry the way Samsung vs LG are in South Korea or Sony vs Toshiba / Nintendo vs SEGA were in Japan..
The OnePlus Two may no longer offer the best value when several Asian phones with reasonable enough specs can go for under $100-$200. Prices have been dropping fast since the Nexus 4 (2012) that buying a $350 smartphone unlocked is no longer a bargain in 2015.
