iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

Fingers crossed for the ones "stuck" in Hong Kong, including me I hope we see an update soon!

One of my phones is already in KY, but the other is "stuck" in Hong Kong - has been pretty much all day. I see an arrival scan, but no departure - hoping it just takes a while to update.

My tracking info has been showing "Origin Scan" in Shanghai, China for the past 2 days with no changes.

If your phone has been in Shanghai for two days, it will arrive for you on launch day; don't worry.

Just wondering why Apple doesn't have people on here that are familiar with procedures to advise. Best Buy and att did. I have an assigned phone and a 9/16 delivery date but no tracking. I would really like to know what that points to with Apple. I decided on Apple because my other experiences were so bad. If I don't get it Friday I will live but knowing that would make it easier.

Has anyone got this yet? This tracking just popped up within the last hour.

I had to use my order number for track by reference, then put in my full 9 digit zip code. This is the only way anything will show up.

If you search around a bit, you will find this person's claim to not only *not* apply in this case, but for many who are damn near experts at getting these devices, Apple's inconsistency and the carriers utter failure to have orders go smoothly make his trite one liner of "First minute, my friend. That's the key." to be absolute grade A BULL__IT!!

You are absolutely right. When the 6 came out, I actually got into the website early and had my orders done and confirmations before midnight. I didn't get my phone till the Tuesday after launch.

I'm sorry you're so upset because you didn't make it into the first wave. Just try harder next year. I wouldn't say that Apple's fleeting ordering problems or any carrier's shipping issues are indicative of the majority of pre-orderers' experiences. And by carriers, do you mean cell service carriers? Or UPS/FedEx?

Either way, the saying "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" applies relatively appropriately here, as just a few folks who experience issues does not mean that it's all horrible.

Hate to burst your bubble but with a shipping date of a month, there's no way apple would deliver your phone days before launch.

OK, question ordered JB 7+ 128GB AT&T and it has held steady at "ships" November. I ordered within 2 minutes of the site opening. Should I cancel and fight the mobs on Friday for hopefully a JB 7+ 128GB or just drink some concrete and harden up hoping that it ships ALOT earlier that whats posted.

Why cancel if you're not sure you will get it in person at the store? You can always wait until you get physical custody of the phone and then cancel pre-order.

I see a lot of folks saying their 7+'s have tracking, etc.. except that we don't know what color choices they are.

Really sucks I placed the order as soon as the site went live (but couldn't finalize it due to AT&T servers being down), got the e-mail to finalize the order at 3AM, since website said my phone was reserved I just waited until 10AM to finalize everything, date says Sept 27-3rd and no movement on anything..

Do we have anyone with a JB 7+ with tracking information, charged to card, etc?

Ive seen at least 2-3 JB 7+ in this thread saying they have tracking and everything. Were they false alarms? It may be about 7-10 pages back.
