Apple Watch launch BS all over again - stayed up until 3:00 AM only to have the store delayed 8 minutes while everyone else is in and getting their phones. Got a delivery window of 10/4 - 10/10, absolute rubbish.

Ordered 128GB and 256GB iPhone 7+ Jet Black.

Seems to vary based on size and carrier.

Every year same gang.. Settle down.. If you ordered in first 5-8 minutes you'll get your jet blacks next Friday. They're always conservative on the shipping date estimations.. They're ESTIMATIONS.. And then once those jets come in from China each day.. they check inventory and update our ship dates earlier and earlier.. Breathe... LOL.. ANd go to bed.. Don't obsess.. Until tomorrow.. LOOOL..

Went through my favorites. Got a bit stuck on payment; Apple Pay froze the first time so I tried manual and it crapped out. Tried Apple Pay again and it worked. Order was complete at 3:10.

Seems like no Jet Black were available in the Apple store for Day 1. My guess is stock is very limited, so they are being conservative, assuming this will be a popular choice. I am sure a lucky few will get it Day 1. Fingers crossed I am one of them. I got through for a Verizon 128GB JP 7+ as soon as the app was up...

Just noticed on the my orders page it says it ships in 6-8 business days but is due for 27-29 delivery? I thought Apple overnighted the phones?

This may have been the easiest preorder yet (for me, anyway), and thank God for it because I'm sick as f*ck right now and SO don't need to be awake! 256 GB rose gold 7+, set for delivery on 9/16. Hoping all of you who are seeing slipped ship dates will be pleasantly surprised and end up getting them on launch!
