Yea thats true mine isn't really a delay lol my original shipping estimate was 10/4 - 10/11 lol sooooo I'm waaay ahead...I'm just getting antsy because I have had them tell me Thursday delievery 10a-2p then Friday to nothingi think its because my ship date wasnt until 26-3 anyway so technically it was never really delayed for meeven though ive been part of this fun group stuck in korea and stuff
ya technically UPS is delayed, but our orders as a whole are not. im still antsy too i get it man, i order 8 minutes after midnight, 2 weeks later i still dont have a phone, just on principle thats kinda ridiculous. whatever, itll be here soon, 139 arrival in lousiville
Just got the email. There are a ton of flights leaving Louisville this morning including a flight to Iah! I'm starting to believe I'll have my phone tomorrow.

The tracking scans are definitely coming in late. So I'm sure the phones are in Louisville, we just won't see the updated scans till a later time. Here's a list of flights that are leaving out of Louisville in the next couple of hours, so I'm sure there will be a lot of Saturday deliveries.

Just got the Saturday delivery email as well... 801er... Louisville arrival 1:28am. What a crazy ride this has been, lol. The unicorn is en route... finally!

Well you're phone will most likely land in the Bay Area and then fly out to SoCal. It should be pretty quick considering it's only a 45 minute to an hour flight from the Bay to LA.
deliveries to Los Angeles go through the UPS hub in Ontario, CA. there's a good chance it'll be here, there's a flight from Louisville to there in like an hour
So after getting an email from Apple saying Saturday delivery I got an email from UPS saying Monday. This false information is really starting to piss me off.

No Saturday email or Louiseville arrival scan though Im positive my phone is in Kentucky, left AK at 4:24pm. Hoping its going to be on that flight to JFK

I'm hoping the ups one is just automated and it shows up tomorrow. If not I'm gonna call and give people a hard time because that's like my 5th delivery date change.

and what is that gonna accomplish? seriously all these people calling and complaining are getting absolutely zero information and it wont make your phone move faster. just watch the tracking until it gets there, youll just waste your time and energy and theres by calling
Yes, I got it! After dispensing with some work with the local safety committee (a friend roped me into it…), I finally had a chance to get it out and set up.
It's great, if only because it's not slippery. I've missed that.
I'm pleased that you got yours so quickly; it seemed as though you might've been left waiting until October sometime.
Its odd, but it's very autumnal here, thanks to the rain we've had since the typhoon on Tuesday: presently about 22 degrees! Perhaps tomorrow I can go out and try the new camera and get a better shot of the higanbana/spider lilies. I got one on Monday; I love them. This shot could have benefitted from the better reds the new camera can capture.
I can't agree with you more. UPS reps have no idea what to say and utter pig crap!
My Jet Black 128 GB 7+ had been "preparing for shipment" for a damn week, then Friday 9/23, late, it shipped, but says standard shipping, delivery 9/30. UPS doesn't have any info on the tracking number, yet. I had called Apple on both Thursday and Friday early, discussing changing shipping to overnight, even if I had to pay, and both times were told they are rushing as fast as they can, and that it would do no good, and might even delay it even more.
Crappy thing is, I'm flying out on vacation Tuesday 9/27, so...unless it magically comes in Monday 9/26, I will miss it...sigh... Apple said if that's the case, I can call them and they'll divert to an Apple Store...
