But when did yours go to "preparing to ship" status? I'm curious, like the others who all went to that status this afternoon, when tracking will become available to us?
Cancelled my 10/4 preorder when I found a T-Mobile 7+ MB 256GB available for pickup online. Helps to be obsessively refreshing the Pickup locations..
Not sure I would preorder again seeing IUP seem to get priority. It would be great if Apple expanded IUP availability to non supported carriers or plans. Actually would be a no brainer

Ok guys I'm freaking confused! I enter my order number minus the last two digits like everyone says for the track by reference and this pops up! Only problem I'm in Texas and this says it headed to Shaver town PA? What?

Yeah, looks good but the one I saw at Best Buy was completely covered with fingerprint smudges. I think they should make a white aluminum variant that would match the ceramic watch.
Ordered a 128GB matte black iPhone 7 Plus around 4 AM the night of the pre-order. Saw my "processing" switch to "Preparing for Shipment" this evening and realized it was time to join you guys again. It's fun to be back on the order vigil, just like two years ago!
At about 11:00 PM tonight (9/26) status went to shipped with an Apple estimated delivery date now of 9/30 (UPS says Early Delivery by End of Day 9/28). So it went from processing to preparing for shipment to shipped all in about 16 hours.

I preordered my 7+ 128gb black at 12:22pst when preorders opened and been sitting on 10/4 - 10/10 forever, finally went into PFS today, looks like it just shipped I got a notification that it shipped via UPS. Coming from China arriving end of day Thursday and arriving 1 day ahead of schedule.
Mine has been sitting in ZhengZhou since Friday. Initial UPS tracking info just says "China"...what would be the difference between ZhengZhou and Shenzhen--are they the two locations for Apple's manufacturing factories?
Delivery is 9/30 from Apple, and it DID say 9/28 from UPS, but now...nothing. I'm leaving for a week-long vacation early this morning, so, will miss either delivery. Going to try and get it held at a UPS or Apple place in Denver area...sigh...

From my own personal experience and the experience with my friends ordering or buying in store, if you don't do your pre-order within the first couple of hours, you are better off just trying to get it at your local store. This isn't always the case, especially with circumstances like with the Jet Black phone this year, but if you can't get to the pre-order before the projected dates are a more than 3-4 weeks after release, you have a better shot at the store.
Don't believe UPS. They did not scan my package once. It was located in ZhengZhou on Saturday and just appeared in Louisville and then Newark. Apple said 9/30, UPS said today. When I questioned both about updates yesterday, UPS said that Apple restricted them from taking so many packages and that they couldn't give me an updated delivery date AFTER they had sent me an email saying I would get it on 9/27. Apple said they thought 9/30, but UPS had tracking difficulties last week. They assured me that if I got an email, then I would receive it today. Apple was right. Not mad at all. Just baffled. Wow good for you, congrats! As I'm also in this 04/10 Oct boat I hope to hear some news like that pretty soon as well!
Same for me, was hoping I would wake up this morning and see some movement, but nothing, still sitting in ZhengZhou, this is getting ridiculous.
