Ordered on 9/9 128GB Black 7+, Status updated today to Preparing to Ship. Anyone know how long it sits in that status (average) before delivery?

Mine just updated in the last 20 minutes to Preparing ShipmentI see that I was alone in this thread with the order processing status in the window delivery 4-10 October.
Mine has been processing since I pre-ordered on September 9. (Black iPhone 7+ 32 Gb T-Mobile)

Changed to preparing for shopment this morning!! CC charged as well.
Anyone know when I can start reference tracking? Not sure how to do it. I've tried putting in my phone number, destination zip and country but it doesn't bring anything up.

Update on my AT&T iPhone 7 Plus Matte Black 128GB preorder.
This is what I got when I talked to an Apple Specialist about the status of my order today. I really hope I get my shipment notification sometime this week. Fingers crossed.

We were authorized $1 from your bank which means that the rest of the payment should go smoothly when the time comes; you will be charged for your order once it is prepared for shipment.

We expect your order to arrive between Oct 5th - 11th if not sooner

We ship in the sequence that orders were received. When your order ships will depend on how many orders are ahead of yours. There is always a chance your order could ship sooner! We just can't guarantee that will happen.

You will receive a shipment notification as soon as your order leaves our warehouse; this will include tracking information and a pre-sign form, just in case someone isn't going to be around to sign for it when it's set to arrive.

I also ordered on 9/11.
I reserved Verizon unlocked iPhone 7 Plus online this morning around 730am. I was able to walk into Apple Store in San Antonio at 10am and purchase phone at full price. I was never asked about IUP and didn't even activate phone in store.

preparing for shipment as well! historically (i also ordered a matte black 128gb 7 plus that came a week earlier) it will be stuck under this status for about 3 days...
T-Mobile 7 Plus 128GB matte black updated to preparing for shipment and charged my credit card this morning. Original delivery estimate was 10/4-10/10. Ordered around 3:30AM EST on 9/9.
GSM unlocked MB 256GB 7+ still processing.

No pending charges as they're not supposed to until it actually ships.
Judging from the posts I've read, it'll be another week or two until I see movement on my order.
I wonder if they'll have the hissing issue fixed.. probably not, but who knows!

I also ordered on 9/9 about 15 minutes after launch.
Yesterday (9/26), mine went from Processing to Preparing For Shipment to Shipped in about 16 hours, and is now scheduled for delivery on 9/28 by the end of day here in the Dallas suburbs. So it is possible for it to go from Processing to in your hands in 2 days.
My order is still sitting in china, last scan date was on 9/25 in ZhengZou, no updates since.

Received confirmation email late on 9/24 that my phone has shipped! Great, except now its done nothing but sit in ZhengZhou (last status update was 9/25) despite the fact that it was scheduled for delivery today 9/27. Saw that many others in the same situation had tracking suddenly show import into the U.S. this morning but I've had nothing, so currently on hold with both UPS and Apple support and neither seems to want to take responsibility or offer any help as to finding out where the package really is.
Incidentally, Apple.com has always showed a 9/30 delivery date - but given the fact it takes most orders ~4 days to arrive once leaving China that seems unlikely to be true either at this point!
Got an email late last night that my payment failed. I was soo close!!! Of course it failed because it was applepay that was on my phone that the ios10 upgrade borked. Lesson learned don't be an early adopter.
So apparently that voided out my applepay payment. Makes sense now. So I guess that knocks my shipment back days til the next batch of JetBlack+'s are ready. Total PITA to get apple to update the payment details. Pro tip, just call customer service and wait on hold for 30 minutes rather than chat. Spent an hour on chat, 2 chat sessions, to learn I needed to call in instead for payment changes not possible on the web site.

Launch night order. I finally got through at 3:20am. Oringinal estimate was 10/3-10/10. Picked up today. Part of the 801 squad!
I don't get it. I have 2 identical phones ordered (+ mb 128gb ATT) ordered within 4 minutes of each other. Both changed to PFS about the same time yesterday but now one has made it to Anchorage with delivery tomorrow and the other is still PFS. That makes no sense to me.
Something seems odd with the shipments going through ZhengZhou. One shipment went though ShenZhen just fine.
Ordered at apple com iPhone 7+ 256 gb black AT&T on 9/11 at 11.30 pm. Original Status- Ships 2-3 weeks and Delivers 05 Oct, 2016 - 11 Oct, 2016 by Standard Shipping. Present status same and "processing items". Reading the 'shipment progress' of others who booked me earlier make me wonder if I would get delivery even by October 11.
