My order exact same, but 40 hours behind, shows exact same status. Doubt if it will make it in the next week

Looks like UPS never solved the mass confusion that plagued our orders last week. Mine is still sitting in Hong Kong since 4am my time yesterday but still says "In Transit - On Time" with a 10/3 delivery date. Apple says 10/6.
I had basically the same status. I was tired of waiting, and I was able to get a reservation today at a Portland area Apple store for an unlocked phone. I'm canceling my preorder.
Is it normal that my phone has been sitting in Shanghai, China for the past 22 hours? I've checked quite a few UPS screenshots here and did not spot anyone with an arrival scan in Shanghai. UPS still says my phone is arriving Monday, but what's the next step?
It's been quite the norm lately. To make matters worse 10/1-10/7 is a National Holiday in China. While UPS operations won't cease, they are running on a reduced schedule.
My phone has been sitting in Hong Kong for 32hrs now.
Congrats! So lucky. Mine landed in Louisville and and couldn't make it out of customs in time for the only flight to Oakland sadly.

Yeah, mine arrived in Kentucky too but it says Scheduled Delivery- Information Unavailable.
I have a delivery date but it moved to Tuesday instead of monday

Im stuck in same boat... now my buddy who works for UPS says if it didn't leave world port in Kentucky by 5am its stuck there til monday morning and now will be delivered Tuesday instead. 2-3 days has now turned into 8 days for Oct 4th.
I had a less than fun experience at my local apple store last weekend before i got my shipment notification i thought i'd share too. I used istocknow.com to see if my local store had stock they didn't at the time but had a 128gb black 7+ so i headed in and talked to the concierge and got in line and checked istocknow while i was waiting and looking at the display phones and some other apple products. waited about 45 minutes and kept checking istocknow.com and was all good... unfortunately the concierge was creating reservations on the spot for everyone in line behind me but had failed to do so for me, which i noticed after waiting the last five minutes right next to him... of course my turn comes around and now rose 32gb is all thats available. thanks dude!

Dont loose hope, if UPS is right. Mine Jumped from China to kentucky. Maybe ours made it on the plane and they arent scanning it?
If my phone arrived at Louisville at 3:17am and the only flight to my city was at 4:56am. Do you think it made it?
Apple said it'll be delivered on Oct.7 Really hope to get it on Monday! At least Tuesday!

I don't think so. I have another order delivered last Saturday (7+ Rose Gold). It took 2 hours to get through the customs (Import Scan) and maybe another 2 hours to transfer the cargo to the connecting flight.
I was hoping the the same thing to happen to my 7+ Black except the flight to my city departed at 6:17AM. It didn't make it, and the chance of missing the import scan is relatively low IMO.
Start backing up your data and getting the accessories for your new phone, and treasure the last 48 hours with your current phone. My iPhone 6 served me well and still in great condition, but I just couldn't resist the new color lol. Hang in there, the wait will soon be over.
