I really don't know, the way things have been going probably won't see any movement. I just checked my Apple app & for the 27 straight day my order is still processing! I'm looking at any & every other place to find a phone. Target, Best Buy, istock....anywhere!! I'm even looking at T-Mobile because I'm thinking about leaving AT&T. I've been thinking of canceling my order also & just taking my chances of finding a phone. At this point I'm just kind of exhausted. I'm ready to get off this roller coaster. It's disheartening to see people who ordered after me getting their phones when I stayed up all night to preorder 9/9. Let me know what you decided. I'm going to try to ride it out & hope this may be our week.
For those of you who've had your phones make it to Anchorage, are they typically good about getting cargo on the very next flight to Louisville that leaves around 3p local? Anyone been stuck in Anchorage? I am guessing UPS is better in the States...especially with the bottleneck in Korea and China.
UPS99 is due to arrive in AK at 12:11PM AKDT. Lets see if we get an arrival scan...

Status just updated!!! Departure scan from Korea 9:55 pm so it seems likely I am on UPS99.
I just talked to T-Mobile, they are about $100 less than AT&T for 2 iPhones for the exact same service (unlimited everything) so I will be switching. Been with AT&T since iPhone 3 in 2008. I was thinking about the matte black but I would be settling & I really wanted the jet black. Unfortunately T-Mobile is back ordered also on the jet black with a delivery date beyond my Apple date so I guess I'll just keep my order with Apple & take my phones to T-Mobile when my phone gets here. I'm still looking for the phone on other sites but the 7+ is still impossible to find. I'm selling my husbands iPhone 6 on eBay as soon as my 7+ gets here. I've looked on eBay & they are selling the 7+ for big money!!! You will definitely make bucks selling your jet black on eBay. I'm guessing right now I'm stuck. I'll just wait for my phone to be delivered & go from there. I feel like I've been rode hard & put away wet with this whole preorder thing. Way too frustrating & emotional. Since the times match up with the others that got a Departure Scan I don't see how our phones would not make it on the plane? Unless there is some sorting process I don't understand.

The package has encountered a delay due to the shipment exceeding the volume that was initially contracted by Apple, movement will resume as soon as conditions permit, I would recommend to keep on tracking your package. I am sorry it may be taking longer than expected.

The iPhone loads weight quite a lot actually
For me once it got to Anchorage, it was on a fast track. So it arrived in Anchorage at 1:30 AKDT left at 3:30 AKDT yesterday and is now on the truck to be delivered today
STANDARD UPS Residential usually gets delivered after business deliveries.So you may think because I left Korea a day before you and others that were with us I would have my phone by now. No it did not happen. It is being drove around the neighborhood and maybe this evening I may see it but maybe not. If I hold my breath I will fall over and pass out LOL

No scheduled delivery date.
UPS customer service offers nothing whatsoever - keep tracking your package they say. Thanks.
Apple was at least nice about it and made some guesses, and even acknowledged they've had lots of complaints about UPS in the last 24 hrs, but they don't know either.
EDIT: Holy crow, in the seconds since I took that screenshot and posted it, a Departure Scan from Incheon posted. Thank goodness.
Trying to understand Apple's concept of first come first served. I've seen people that have ordered beyond my 9/22 date and theirs are being delivered today..... Hmmm.....
