I would guess it depends on production planning for that specific carrier's model. So, theoretically, I would say yes, it could be impacted. But don't take my word for it.

Yeah I was thinking that carrier models would play a factor, but was hoping that it wouldn't. Seeing you guys order on 9/27, a day before my order, and getting updated info has me hopeful though. Thanks

lol I'll start holding my breath now

Apple has always sandbagged shipment dates for me.

You bet.

My order only went from Processing to Preparing for Shipment this morning.

Let us know how it goes.

So this is going to sound stupid, but if you order from Apple does your carrier affect when your phone will be processed and shipped?

Yes, it does according to an Apple rep that I spoke with last week. Supposedly orders are grouped according to carrier and then shipped by order number. This is why someone who orders later than another still may get their phone first. At least that's how it was explained to me. The Verizon JB 7+ seems to be shipping faster than the AT&T JB 7+

At the end of the day, even the biggest company can have issues. As a true Apple fan, I will let this go. Lord knows I have family and friends that have dropped the ball and they are still in my life! It will be interesting to see what they do going forward to adjust. That will speak volumes.

True that!... we will all forget about this until next year when we are all waiting for the next iPhone..

No movement at all!! I'm beginning to believe I won't see my new phone until October 31st

Ugh this is driving me crazy too, first it was scheduled for delivery to me on Monday, then to my great surprise it was rescheduled for delivery today, well yesterday it got rescheduled with no particular delivery date! UPS is horrendous, why the hell did apple switch to them from FedEx? My delivery is set to be made in Kansas.

Here's a screenshot of my progress --

Got my phone about 5 p.m. But I cannot open the sim-card tray. The needle can be inserted into the hole on the tray with about 5 millimeters for the iPhone 6s. But for my iPhone 7 Plus, it just inserts a little, like one millimeter. Contacted apple support, the rep said it should be the manufacturing problem or something what. Have to send it back and wait for another week at least.

I kinda had the same issue, but I used a straight pin to go ahead and get it open. I've waited too long and there's no Apple store near me and I bought outright. So I improvised and it worked!

Got an email saying my delivery date has been rescheduled to 10/7 but if I track it through the website it's telling me delivery date is 10/11.

Same here, except I never got a scheduled date of 10/7. There is a flight that leaves for my city early early Friday morning. Hoping I will get it then. I wouldn't think it would take until Tuesday to get delivered. Monday at the very latest I would guess, especially since I am picking it up at UPS.

My delivery is set for 10/11 as well. I'm in Dallas and figured it'd come Monday, since it arrived in Louisville today (00:30). I'm sure it has to do with the massive volume of phones to deliver.

My original estimate was sometime next week, so I'm all good. I wonder if I change the delivery to pickup at UPS Center if I'd be able to get it on Monday. Or tomorrow, even, if it makes it to Dallas UPS Center by morning.

Anyone have experience w/ changing delivery to pickup like that?

BTW what's the status for all those who have ordered on 9/24? So we will have a better idea that whether they are switching to PFS for our orders now.

After all the stress of tracking this thing across the ocean, it should arrive today. Original delivery window was 5 Oct - 11 Oct (pre-ordered 10 Sep), so it's basically exactly on schedule.

My phone made it to Chicago this morning at 4:52 AM CDT. I live in the Chicago area, but the phone will not be delivered until Tuesday, October 11th. That's crazy, but within the Apple promise window, so they're off the hook. I think they have an arrangement with UPS to delay certain shipments due to the overall volume they're handling. Mine just happens to be in that group, I guess.

Maybe I can talk them into letting me pick it up at the UPS center today?

Their website will only allow me to pick it up on October 11th. That does me no good...maybe chat?

i'm on the same boat i think, my phone made it to Newark, NJ this morning but my scheduled delivery date is Oct. 11th.....so yes it's in Apple's promise window, but i don't see why they wouldn't deliver it if it's so close.

For me delivery at NYC, it was showing 10/11 then briefly for about an hour the date changed for delivery today 10/07 and now again back to 10/11.

But my guess is it will be delivered today. Let's see
