She's right. This is why even I have ordered T-Mobile.

About ATT, you have to activate and use it for 30 days and then you can request for unlock completely. So eventually you get tied to ATT for 30 days minimum.

Also, you have to use the sim card that comes with it, not the sim card which you are already using on another phone.

Please correct me if I am wrong somewhere.

I am from India & the prices here are absonant. I have ordered T-Mobile only so that I have to simply take out the sim card and start using my iPhone 7 Plus (32GB Gold) without any activation or anything.

iPhone 7 Plus 32GB US Price: USD822.83
iPhone 7 Plus 32GB Ind Proce: USD1080.84

I save USD258.00 & why not lol.

Still Processing but I guess we are not too far anymore. May be in few coming days or even hours, you never know.

what are you using? freight forwarder or you are sending to a friend?

Nope, mine was same as you. I hope that they forgot to update our package on their server.

That's what I'm hoping - would literally make no sense for our phones to have made neither of the flights today. Fingers crossed that there'll be some kind of update for us in the morning.

I spoke with a friend of a friend who has T-Mobile for their carrier & she says just call them or go into a store & you get T-Mobile SIM cards & you are good to go! EZ as that & also they are running a special, SIM cards are free (usually $20 each)!!! I already checked & my phone numbers can be used on their network so as soon as my jet black 7+ gets here I'm going with T-Mobile.

My family stays in NY. My uncle is coming in November 1st week. That's why I'm really tensed about the delivery date since he's leaving on 11/8 lol.

Yup. That's the best part about T-Mobile. It indirectly gives you Sim-Free Unlocked iPhone 7

Good info. That kinda sucks you are stuck with AT&T locked for 30 days. I guess I should have gotten T-mobile. Oh well next time. Not really a big deal for me. The 6+ I have now has been unlocked for a few weeks now and I plan on giving that to my friend who has T-mobile. None of this should affect me giving him my unlocked 6+? I assume unlocking a phone is specific to the phone not the SIM? Also, I assume I can activate through ATT online?

Yes, if your 6+ is unlocked, you are good to go & ready to give iPhone to your friend. But I'm assuming while you purchased iPhone 7 or 7 Plus ATT, apple must have asked for your ATT account details. With that, you can simply activate your number which you are using with the Sim Card provided to you inside iPhone 7 Plus.

All you need to do is call up ATT and activate it. The number will remain the same unless you don't have 2 ATT numbers. It's possible in Family plan. But I would still suggest to confirm with ATT as a cross check.

Okay perfect. Thanks! Yes it did ask for my ATT info when I ordered. I do have 2 lines (family plan) but only concerned with one particular line.

7+ has shipped! should be here Thursday according to UPS, printing the release form now. :)

It's especially odd because the only flight that I've seen out of Anchorage since the departure scan last night is the one that's still enroute to Louisville (with no issues reported) - even if it somehow isn't on the flight, what mechanical problem could happen with it just sitting and waiting?

Yeah, even if our phones is on the plane for tomorrow, i don't think it will be delayed. We just have to wait for them to reschedule our delivery date.

Another departure scan out of Anchorage, so looks like it's now on UPS6083.
