If you have an Apple Store nearby, you could check the reserve site every day to see if the store has the model (or an acceptable alternative) to reserve for pickup. Don't cancel your online order until you're at the Apple Store and have verified that they have the iPhone and that they're ready to sell it to you, though.

Apple specialist told me that our phones scheduled delivery date is October 14(Friday). So maybe they(UPS) hold our phones because of that

OK. Mine departed HK 6 hours after it arrived. Based on flight schedules, it looks like it's headed to Shanghai.

So, Zhengzhou to Incheon to Hong Kong to Shanghai. What a cluster f*&k.

lol it is very strange how they do this. According to mine it went from ZengZhou to Shanghai... who knows what's next???

Well it doesn't surprise me that a 30 minute later order than mine would translate into two more weeks before delivery with the sorely small supplies that Apple made for this 7+ jet black. So actually you're waiting period, though I feel your pain, doesn't surprise me. I ordered a full 40 minutes before you did.

Per Apple, my estimated delivery date is today. My delivery date per UPS was supposed to be tomorrow. However, on Sunday, I requested that it be delivered to my local UPS store and since then I have had no scheduled delivery date. Looks like that request may be slowing things down.

Finally had an import scan around two hours ago (at that point it was about 40 hours with no movement) - UPS emailed me shortly thereafter with a delivery notification for tomorrow. Apple's delivery date is still listed as 10/13, and hasn't budged throughout all this - so I wouldn't go by them.

I haven't received anything from UPS. Your notification, is it only import scan or departure scan as well?

Just an import scan. The next flight to either Newark or JFK is in about 2-3 hours from now, so will be checking for a departure scan around then.

Good luck to your phone. Maybe they will give me notification soon because you have got one.
 
Looks like we finally on our way again. Appears to be flight 99 to Alaska. UPS pushed delivery date out to to Friday the 14th now. Must of added new tours of Alaska and Kentucky.
 
For what its worth, I ordered my MB Plus/128 on 9/23 with delivery 10/24-31. It changed to "Preparing for Shipment" this morning. So looks like Apple is conservative with shipping estimate?

They typically are, very conservative. I'm sure it's to cover themselves. Mine was estimated for next week delivery but according to UPS should be here by this Friday. I'm others will chime in with similar results.

I've ordered on 9/24. This is another positive sign that my order might go into PFS soon.
 
well, seems like I am not going to get mine on 10/14, and probably nor the next week, since it is still processing, and no CC charged yet. this is annoying, I was about to cancel my order three times, and get the LG V20 or the PIXEL XL, but I would be also on a pre order problem, not sure it would be as bas as this one.

I heard the Pixel XL is in very high demand. Last I checked 4-6 weeks or waitlist..
