TLDR...warning!

Finally got mine last night. It was a nightmare getting it tho. Literally waited on my front porch for the 3 hour window UPS gave me so I wouldn't miss them for the signature. I felt complacent doing so as I was simply working outside in semi decent weather, but it reached 7:00 (the end of the three hour window) and I got worried.

I called UPS customer service and they told me the package was likely still on it's way. I hung up and then refreshed the tracking on ups.com and the status said first delivery attempt made with a timestamp of 7:15 - Right when I hung up with customer service. Obviously, they did not attempt to deliver...I was outside the entire time.

Called customer service again, yelled at them and demanded they deliver today. They apologetically told me no, but that I could come pick it up so long as I brought a photo ID.. I live in New York and getting to the UPS package center meant I needed to Uber it there as taking the subway would have got me there after they closed. Uber was 4 dollars so I said "F*** it, I'll go."

Wouldn't it be nice if the story ended here? ...Got to the package center...1 guy is manning the desk and there are 6 people in front of me. But it seems like every time he goes back to find a package that he has to search the entire warehouse because it takes an average of 15 minutes per person. It's finally my turn and I wait my 15 minutes and pull out my ID, and he states that it has to be a NY license with the address shipping. Unfortunately for me, I recently moved from Ohio and don't have a NY ID. So I yell at the guy tell him my sob story of waiting and how customer service told me to come here with a photo ID, and that no one specified any other detail.

They guy gives in a little and he goes back to talk to his manager. Turns out his manager left for the day but the guy comes back with a solution asking me to email me the receipt and that he'd take a photocopy of my Ohio licence for the inconvenience and the wait. After a little bit more arguing and him telling me he is just doing this as a one time courtesy, I finally have my phone.

All in all, what I can say about this experience is not that UPS is ****** or that policies need to be changed...

What I learned is that I'm an apple fanboy...and absolutely nothing can stop me from getting my phone. LOL.

I'm hoping ours are on the UPS flight (UPS99) that left Incheon at 10:41PM KST and arrives in Anchorage at 12:39PM AKDT. There might be others, but that's the only listed UPS flight I see leaving Korea today.
UPS99 is the same flight my phone was on when it left Incheon to Anchorage a couple days ago. It made it to Anchorage and about 3 hours later, departed on the same again UPS99 flight to Louiville.
My phone stayed an entire day in Louiville after that though. I guess it takes a while to get the import scan done.

It wasn't too long, just a scary Halloween story. I call it the UPS dance, usually caused by the driver lying about an attempted delivery. I have been their unwilling dance partner several times.

My tracking doesn't either. Let's hope there's a delay with UPS tracking updates. Otherwise, Thursday seems like a long shot.

Unless UPS is slow to update online tracking, the Incheon to Anchorage flight already landed and is prepping to leave for Louisville. No indication my device was on that flight.

Thankfully there's a daily occurrence of this same flight plan so here's to hoping it can be on the next one.

UPS99 MD11 Incheon Int'l (RKSI) Anchorage Intl (PANC) 10:32PM KST (departs in 13 hours 50 minutes) 12:51PM AKDT

Think I'm in the same boat as you. I ordered 9/13 at about noon

I ordered the exact same configuration in 9/19. I'm still showing 6 weeks/November 18.

My card was charged yesterday (11/1), but I'm showing no change in order status. Has there been any consistency in how long it takes after a card is charged before tracking info is available on Apple.com?

I'm curious why you seem to have seen movement before me, even though you ordered 5 days after I did.
