I logged into my Apple app and discovered that my wife's Rose Gold iPhone 7+ 128gb had moved to preparing for shipping. My hopes rose a little as I looked to my order only to find it still stuck in processing. I'm glad my wife's will be arriving shortly.....my wait continues

Wow, she's a very lucky person. Just checked my order... it has now slipped back to "Delivered by 22 December".

I'm becoming more and more pissed off. My carrier has them in stock, but I refuse to buy it from them as it will be locked to their network forever. They don't permit unlocking.

I may begin to check Apple Premium Resellers, or bite-the-bullet and travel the 7 hour round-trip to my nearest Apple Store where they are in stock, ready for collection.

OMG!! Dude, I feel your pain. That just plain sucks. Hopefully your delivery time frame will improve. I've read more than a few posts from people who were in the same boat and apple ended up delivering much sooner. Hoping this happens with you. I don't know what to expect with mine. Still showing delivery for 12/2-12/16. Since 12/2 is already next week, I am obviously not getting my phone this coming Friday.

7 hours is a long trip, but I might just do the same.

Others keeps on changing, just hang on. Mine arrived 8 days earlier than the said delivery date. Still, fingers crossed.

My Wife's Rose Gold 7+ shipped from China. And although Apple said it wouldn't arrive until 12/05, UPS says it is arriving this Thursday 12/1. I needed to have it held at the UPS center since no one will be home to sign for the package. And I refuse to pre-sign for the package with apple. If you read the fine print, you accept all responsibility in the event of theft. No thank you. Now I just have to hope no one at the UPS center steals my package. I've heard horror story after horror story of this happening at the UPS centers.

Have you checked UPS My Choice? Also, if UPS says 'Thursday 12/1', then its arriving on that date.

Consider that you may have already spent over 7 hours checking and obsessing over your order. Perhaps just confirm order with Apple Store and pick it up, be done with the waiting. Just a thought.

I know, but I am also considering the cost of that journey. I don't drive so it would be a bus the whole way, which will cost 60EUR... I would have to leave here about 6AM, travel to Dublin for 2 hours, then it is another 2.5 hour bus journey to Belfast, and both bus journeys back again. It's actually a 9 hour journey... all for an iPhone.

Just checking on public transport, it is actually a 9 hour return journey. 2 hours to Dublin, then 2.5 hours to Belfast, and back again. It would cost around 60Euro. It's not worth it.

Just spoke to Apple Store support on the phone. They said that because their UK warehouses serve Western Europe, the demand is huge and orders are beginning to back up to late December.

It's funny, because the Apple Stores have them. And the online store have regular 7's in stock, ready for next day delivery. The Plus is just like gold dust.

I'll hang on a little longer, but my iPhone 6 is on it's last legs. At a concert last night, couldn't even snap a single photo. The 11GB usable storage is killing me. First world problems, eh?

I agree. A 9 hour journey for the iPhone seems a bit much.

Yea, I don't understand how anyone can order from Best Buy and have a 7+ JB delivered by 12/7 while Apple says I still have to wait till 12/16. I've waited 5 weeks now, so I'll wait a few more.

Just called Apple to say I was cancelling the order, and that I cannot wait any longer (JUST to see what they would say... really have no intention to cancel...)

Big surprise... they bumped my order, which now says "Delivers 9-16 December". It's not a huge change, but it's a step in the right direction. Yesterday, I ordered a spare Lightning=>3.5mm adapter. That shipped within 4 hours by UPS at a cost of 9Eur...

Well that's good news. I'm going to assume mine is not being delivered until 09/16 as well since they won't be able to make the 09/02 delivery date. Maybe we will receive ours on the same day?

That's my Apple budget blown for another 6-9 months. i7+ and an Apple Watch this year. Last year it was the new Apple TV and iPad Air 2

Ordered on 11/10 and my order now is "Preparing for shipping" and money taken.

That's great news Webb. My Wife's Rose Gold shipped in 3 weeks.

A week after I ordered my JB 7+ the shipping times improved to 3-5 weeks, but my shipping estimates never changed. When they improved to 2-3 weeks my shipping estimates never changed either. Always remained at 4-6 weeks. I am in week 5 now. Still in processing Limbo.

I'll be sure to let you know, and let me know soon as your status is updated. I may purchase an Apple watch series 2, but I really want the new iPad Pro 2 next year. I am leaning heavily towards the iPad Pro 2.

I will :):apple: My order still remains at "Processing: Ships 2-3 Weeks" and it has been 2 weeks today since I ordered (Ordered Nov 15). I expect it to ship any day now I hope. Although as I said, when I initially ordered it, the order status page said "Ships 3-4 weeks", that changed to 2-3 weeks about 12 hours later.

I have an UPDATE! Looks like my call to Apple the other day has paid off. My order is PREPARING FOR DISPATCH! Money is gone from my account.

I repeat.... this is not a drill.... this is not a drill....

It's been 2 weeks exactly since I placed the order - 15 November
Hopefully it will dispatch today or tomorrow!
