Hm this makes me think.. Maybe it's not so much about the time ordered, as it is the location. Could be wrong though.

Its totally not time even tho they say first come first serve last year i order my 6S late on the 9th and ppl that order 3am didnt even get theirs on launch day but i did..

I just changed my delivery type to pick up at customer center. I'm too scared that I won't be home during the afternoon to accept the package, and I do not trust it being left out on my porch. My sister has had packages stolen before. I hope it'll be ready by 8:30am at the CC like the UPS website says.

Considering the fact that a lot of people on this forum were able to order on the 9th not long after preorders went up and still not have early ship dates makes me believe this.

I'm not sure if there is any real order in which these shipments are made now :/

I've had every iPhone since the 3GS and have never seen Release day iPhones customers not have their info by Monday/Tuesday of launch week. Typically Shipping labels are created the weekend going into launch week/Monday of launch week at the latest and then devices are shipped, and many of us who are near UPS hubs have or phones make it to our hubs on Wed with UPS holding the phones until friday.

From Apple, yes...this was always my case with all the stuff from China - Anchorage - Louisville - Newark - me.

With T-Mo? Complete S-Show last 2....with nothing updated on UPS or TMo's site until after I had the phone in my hand. Only clue I was getting last year was charge on my CC on Thursday afternoon. Phone arrived release day at 4 PM via UPS. Damn end of the route!

Thats just my observation of past experiences.

I've had every iPhone since the first, and have never seen a carrier not be allocated ANY of a certain model.

Even if you were not home they won't drop off the package unless someone is there to sign it

This isn't the first major release for Apple. They know what they're doing. The biggest issue that'll disrupt shipping is the giant typhoon that's about to hit Japan and China.

In the past did anyone have their shipping date for late September and was able to get the phone on the day of the launch?

Do you remember how far out your ship dates showed last year

Even though I'm 99% sure I'm getting my iPhone on launch day, T-Mobile has seriously drop the ball in this mess. You can't even check on your order status on there site. I was only able to check the order status on there app. And when it shipped I didn't get a notification. Also when my credit card was charge on Saturday, I didn't get an email till yesterday that my payment has been completed.

So....ITS HAPPENING! ( I know some of you are too excited).

I order 2 128gb 7+ golds around 10 am est, after a failed 3 am attempt. Both phones in the 9/26-1/10 group.

Just got charged for one of them, see below:

Makes me wish I kept my Apple.com order since its was delivering between 9/23 -9/27. Probably would have gotten it same time or maybe earlier than Tmobile.
