Long time lurker, first time caller. Add me to the camp of those who believe most all of us will get ours on launch day. Last year my wife and I got our phones before T-mobile marked our orders as shipped.

This year I ordered two phones:
iPhone 7 Rose Gold 128
iPhone 7+ Matte Black 128

Got the tracking number for the 7 yesterday, still processing for the 7+. NEITHER has been charged.

There orders were created at 3:07AM EST, but because of system issues, payment wasn't added until 1PM EST later that day and the EIPs weren't signed until Saturday (when I got them).

I don't think there's any exact science to this. It's not specifically the time your order was placed or when the EIP was signed. If you ordered on pre-order day and you have a shipping date before November, I think you have every chance of getting your order on time.

Pre-ordering iPhones is a sport. Happy flight watching!

Ahh, the comradary of iphone preorder threads. Cheers.

Now only if we could all come together on other things, like politics.

This indicates, if we can take T-Mobile on their policy, that if you have been charged, your phone is gearing up to ship. Congrats.

When I was here for the 6+ launch, everyone who got charged got phones on launch day even though T-Mobile couldn't keep up with the order updates. I think I got delivery confirmation a day or two after receiving the phone!
