LOL but I don't know if i'd want to do that just to be told I can't pick it up yet. Are you picking it up from the distribution center or a local UPS? If its the distribution center i don't see why you cant pick it up right away. But for the local stores the phone needs to make it there first.
 
from Reddit, looks like we won't be seeing them till Monday I guess. They have the whole weekend to unload matte and jet black of all configs

Was the 11am pick up time because you held it for pick up at a local UPS? I requested mine to be picked up at the customer center/distribution center.

Yeah it was the local store... in that case I'm sure you'll be golden. Phone is already there so I cant see why you cant just show ID and pick it up... either way good luck! I hope you get your hands on it

When I picked up my 6+ on launch day (reserved in store) it was literally a mad house in and around the store... Couldn't wait to leave
 
How are people using their phone number as reference numbers? Just as is or adding a 1 in front or?
 
Well, I ordered my husband's phone on 9/10 for a Silver iPhone 7 Plus 128GB and it gave me an estimate of 10/25 - 11/11. Had it charged last night and T-Mobile just updated the order from processing to shipped. UPS says a label was made, but estimated delivery is tomorrow (Friday) end of day.

UPS reference using phone number still isn't working and I added him to my MyUPS account late, so it's not showing the tracking there. Only way I knew for sure it is getting shipped is by T-Mobile updating the status and providing the number.

Rather shocked. Haven't told him about getting him a new phone. Going to be super excited =D

The store in my town will get about 5. Wasn't sure of what colors or storage size however

I'm already mentally prepared to get my phone sometime next week. As long as nobody gets their iPhone plus matte black 128GB before I do I'm fine lol as long as we all get them sent out at the same time lol

Same here just holding out a little hope I'll get tracking from one of the planes that landed tonight

Well, I'm assuming "customer" center is the same as "distribution" center? I just know that every time I get a UPS package, it goes through the same city that this customer center is located..

I like your style lol My estimated date is 9/27-10/10, so anytime next week would be nice. Hoping we see a flood of matte blacks come in soon.

Weird, My status has changed to in progress. I ordered a 7+ 128GB black. Ordered at 11:55pm (pt) on the 9th.
No change on my card and no update on UPS my choice.

So my card was charged on the 14th, and UPS has had a label created for me since yesterday evening. Still no change from "processing" on T-Mobile.com. Do they have my phone yet or what?
 
There are currently no shipments in transit to this home delivery address.

Several planes landed in Louisville, maybe that's what triggered it.
