I was told by t mobile after months of back and forth about crap service that the older iPhones (including the 6 that I have) don't support lte speeds as well as newer phones? I don't really believe it but I will say I have a signal booster in my apt and my bf has a 6s on t mobile. He gets better service than me. So who knows..
Newer iPhones support band 12 LTE which helps with signal if you have it in your city

Hmmm... interesting, I sure hope that's the case. It was quite a noticeable difference between the s7 edge and the SE. Thanks for the input!

I'm also interested in signal quality/reception, going from the S7 Edge to the iPhone SE I lost quite a bit of reception for some reason
I take a crappy $50 prepaid Android device when I have to go to work because I get a better signal with that piece of crap than I do with my $600 6s. I hope they do something to fix it because there is no reason for that when paying for a premium handset.

So I'm not the only one lol. After the S7 Edge I had to call T-mobile and get one of those LTE hot spots shipped out to me for my home.

I'm hoping my 7 will get better service. If not I'm just gonna pay it off and switch carriers

It's really awesome and slick as a bar of soap. Gotta get a case fast. It's unbelievably fast and gonna take some getting used to the haptic home button. Back to taking some good photos. I'm used to the Note 7s excellent camera and that's the main reason for me getting this phone.
how is the camera compared to the note 7? i just turned my note in last week adn really miss it simply for the camera. Any contest on photo quality?

I have one and it doesn't even work. I live in a popular city but it's just in my apt I have crappy service. Weird.

It's here! :p

Well... either way my signal is still better off than it was with ATT. That was far worse in my area.

Mine works quite well! then again i'm in the suburbs

So once the iPhone 7 arrives, all I gotta do is swap the sim card from my old iPhone 6 and I'm good to go?
Basically, but if you want all your stuff from your old phone on the new one you should install your icloud backup or a backup you have saved on your computer

Shouldn't it come pre-installed with a t-mobile sim assigned to your number? You just login and activate.
Last time I tried to login and activate a SIM it wouldn't work. Easier just to switch the SIM in my opinion.

When I got my Galaxy Grenade 7 it came with a SIM card in the box separately, which wouldn't activate, so I just swapped my SIMs.

I have iCloud backup and was thinking of trying it this time around, so to confirm the icloud backup is the same as doing a restore from itunes? thanks!

The disappointment is so real today, but I've already accepted it lol. Nothing else to do but just wait, a few days to a week wouldn't kill me I guess. I've seen pics of the matte black posted by peeps on reddit and it looks so damn good, no ragrets about picking black even though all the other colors came on launch!

Totally agree. It's interesting I have an iPhone six bought from T-Mobile and also an iPhone 5c from Verizon but both are now on tmobiles network. There r a few times when the Verizon 5c would get service on the T-Mobile network while the T-Mobile iPhone 6 would get 0 service in the same location...never could figure out why
