I wonder how much this thread is worth? (collectively counting people's money towards iPhones who posted in this thread)
Only a fraction of phone buyers/users, ever post anything online. Especially on any sort of regular basis.

Ordered a plus 32gb Matte black at 2:54 am est on 9/8/16 just got charged. 9/19-9/26
Then I was lied to and scammed by tmo either through ignorance or.. well I just can't image it was to snarf up an extra few hundred dollars intentionally.
The rep at T-Mobile told me they only charge the card when the new phone is activated. I'm old school 6-Mo interval Jump from when it first started. Take that with a grain of salt.
I ordered a Jet Black 128GB Plus at 2:03am Central time, 3 minutes after poreorder started, and still don't have tracking or anything. Ship date is 9/19-9/26.
It is what it is. Not sweating it. Would really like to have it by next weekend, though. Going to a wedding and would like the new camera for evening shots.
Also, to the girl who asked what we will do after the phones come in. I am waiting for a turbo upgrade for my BMW, the little NES console that has games pre-loaded, a Spray-In Bed Liner appointment for wife's new truck, and a wedge of Gouda cheese from this little factory in Cuba, NY.
Unfortunately, I'm always waiting on something.

Did you purchase it via EIP or JOD.? JOD leases do not charge taxes upfront, EIP purchases do.
Well he's getting $300 a month from me plus $600ish upfront in JOD charges...
I'm paying about $50 per line per month in service and equipment charges so extrapolate that over the population of the thread and we're quite a lot of money to tmo.
Get those $20 out bro! I was charged $40 for ordering via phone (or if you do in store). Just message T-Force and they will take it off from your account.
EDIT: An earlier version of this thread incorrectly stated that the author ordered his phone online. That is not correct. The author ordered them through phone. We have corrected the error and apologize for any misunderstanding.

I JOD'd six lines, tmo whacked me for about $600 in upfront costs even though I didn't move up in memory tier for any of them.
I am in the same boat. Waiting on my phone, a winning lottery ticket, my ship to come in, and my pga tour card.

For those squabbling over taxes, it depends on your state. Here in CA we pay all taxes for the full retail value up front no matter if you lease, finance or fully purchase the device.
