Doesn't look like we'll be getting ours anytime soon.
So appears to be another million roughly phones coming inbound late tonight.. if you use rule of thumb of 13 million phones (roughly what the 6s numbers were) and assuming 500k-1mil phones a day, the backlog should be cleared in about 2 weeks (Jet black not withstanding) of course these are just rough estimates and we don't know how many were in the US before launch and how many phones total the preorder was for.

It's not... looking at my wife's 7 compared to my 6S Plus, the colors are more accurate (a tad, since the 6S series wasn't horrible). That's it, really. I'm not a fan of the new home button. At all. But I can see how this potentially sets up the rumored button-less phone next year. Camera on the smaller 7 is now better than what's on the 6S Plus, so I'm interested to get the 7 Plus' camera in my hands.

I gave in and gave tmobile a call, the guy was super nice. However, i know what they were going to say but he said that the estimated date that is given by us is accurate and that we should be getting out phone in that time period. He seem very knowledge of what he is talking about, but like i said again i don't fully trust it.
Last year when i preorder my iphone 6s plus I had charging issue and it was all sorts of mess but he said this year they improved it where if your card gets decline it would not cancel your order but it will give you 5 days to update your payment, so hopefully that is the case. These are for the people who might have trouble with payments because maybe the rep have wrote something down wrong.

Mine did, arrives today. I suspect the 9/27-10/10 crowd will see their phones soon

The fact that I ordered my phone like 6 hours before you and still got the same shipping date makes me sad.

I ordered on the 9th at 7:00 am central time.
No need for that yet. No need at all. Waste of his time, waste of their time.
There is still a week left in that shipping "estimate".
A rep would have absolutely zero new info for the guy. He'll get it in the next week or so, no doubt.
Estimated shipping window from the 19th through the 26th... updates take seconds, and shipping is next day air. "Calling to see what's up" should happen first thing on the 27th... maybe 25th at the earliest. Not 0-dark-30 on the first day of the window. But that's just my take.
These customer service reps are SAINTS to put up with some of these people...
Just picked up my matte 32gb Plus from a UPS facility, they gave me a hard time becuase i had my work address on the package which of course didnt match my ID, had to get my co worker to send me a picture of my business card which they accepted. I used my work address becuase i thought it would come on launch day lol
Background i ordered right at pre order launch and got a ship date of 9/19-9/26, i was charged on friday and receieved tracking a few hours after i was charged.
