Agreed. I get it to a certain degree, but Apple should definitely communicate to carriers better on where they are, number of units arriving the next day, week, etc. It isn't really the carriers, I don't think. They just give what little info they're given.
I think the ultimate problem as that the popularity of this phone was underestimated and sometimes those mistakes just happen. I didn't want to wait a single day past launch day but here we are.

I was charged, no update from tmobile or ups. Ya know, Amazon seems perfectly capable of handling massive numbers of orders/shipments on a daily basis. I'm constantly aware of what's going on with my amazon orders, I'm surprised tmobile and apple haven't figured out how they do it yet.
Ready for UPS!!!!!!!!!!

That ur phone label. I got this for my daughter's iphone 7 128 gb MB that arrived on Friday.

Are you saying they only take orders a few weeks per year?
I think that the original poster was just stating that the process could be more streamlined.
Aren't all of these big name companies?
Long ago, before there was an internet, well at least a public internet, I used to work as a network admin for a company that existed for the Christmas season but functioned all year long, they'd do more business during those six or so weeks than they did the rest of the year. When sales went up they'd bring in extra people, work longer hours and if the network and databases weren't ready to handle the load I would have lost my job in a heartbeat. In other words, the network had to be capable of handling Christmas all year long even though it was only under load for a few weeks during the year. It seems to me that iphone launch time is like Christmas for Apple and the carriers, Apple may be too big to fail, but the carriers sure as crap aren't.

Now, I'm definitely not saying I could do a better job, I'm certain I couldn't, but then I was never on a million $ salary. Eventually SOMEONE along the chain is going to have to say "this just isn't good enough anymore".

No. I'm saying they only ship millions of items in a week for a few weeks per year. That's like expecting Amazon to do Cyber Monday for weeks at a time and not have issues.

Oh wait. I got mine too!!! Check your UPS my choice guys, shipping info incoming...lol

ETA tomorrow 3-7 PM. Yasssssss

7 Plus 128gb black.
