For the people trading their iPhone 6/6s how long did it take between shipping your iPhone and T-Mobile paying the new iPhone 7 in your bill?
Thanks,
This is a very sore subject for me that I've mentioned several times, (sorry for the rant):
be prepared to wait/pay until it's processed . T-Mobile 's official answer is, "2-3 billing cycles"--however, they make NO guarantees of that. The phone is shipped to Assurant, a third party warehouse that does all T-Mobile 's return processing. So as far as tmo is concerned, you did not mail that device in, until Assurant processes it and enters it into T-Mobile 's system. Even with tracking, (which definitely helps,) you don't get credit bc "it could just be an empty box or damaged device." So if Assurant loses your package, (happened to me last year,) you are screwed and T-Mobile has no way of tracking it down--beyond just sending a handset inquiry letter.
I went through this nightmare for 7-8 months last year; and so have many others. Of course, they will credit to your bill what you have paid... eventually.
They have gotten quicker this year, it seems though. Some people have gotten it in as little as a week.
Officially: "2-3 billing cycles. "
Everyone should be prepared for having to temporarily pay until it's processed though.
