Looking at my iPhone 7 next to My 6S the 7 is at least 25% dimmer. That's the opposite of what was advertised. I hope it's software!!!

Agreed. I just did a hard reset and it's still darker. I thought it was suppose to be brighter. Not liking this.

No problem with my 7. Super bright when cranked to the max, I am going to keep it at about 60% for now.

Don't suppose the bottom of your screen is slightly darker or has a mild yellow tint? Maybe we are part of a bad batch...

My display is a much warmer color then my 6s, but I don't see yellow really. How about you?

Yellow compared to 6S, brown towards the bottom. Generally doesn't go bright enough and a lot darker than 6S. Given it's supposed to be brighter I should return it but no stock...

Yeah that is what I am afraid of. I have a jet black and I know they aren't going to have any of those.

Yeah a few people (including myself) have been having this problem. I think the screen is starting to normalise though - when I first turned it on it was the whole screen, now it's slowly starting to fade into normal. Give it a week or two and see if that helps, if not ask Apple for a replacement (not that we have much of a choice, given their current stock). I called my local store earlier and he said they don't even have any replacement stock in at the moment.

Which color do you have?

Not the display?

Mine now gets brighter, but now as bright as my 6s. Seems more of the display
