Touched a nerve I see:rolleyes:

For the record that wasn't sarcasm:)

Excellent. Please continue to keep track of the record. You are doing a stellar job.

For the record, this wasn't sarcasm either:)

4. Google Pixel has no camera bump and it has the best camera in a phone - I know there are cameras with gsm module inside, but it's an other story.

it is 8.5mm thick (+15%), but it has bigger battery (+50%)

I think Apple will left this fashion top-model disease behind, and give us a durable and well-designed model around 8 mm.

iPhone 8MM

This is a geek's wish list, and definitely not apple's list.

  1. VR? not gonna happen
  2. 4K on 5.5" screen? for what? drain battery and heat up faster than it can recharge with little benefit.
  3. Curved screen? seriously those gimmick curved TV are a niche market.
  4. no camera bump? not gonna happen unless they want to downgrade camera picture quality or increase thickness. two biggest compromises just for no camera bump? not gonna happen.
  5. 4GB RAM and USB 3. I wish for USB 3 but apple is pushing for cloud, not local storage.

some of us never pay full price for a phone. we spend a faction of the cost by using carrier subsidize/promotion and selling old phone. for example, I paid around $200 for iphone 7 plus, including tax and activation fee.

bgr is apple biased beyond obsessive. their articles are a joke. and they post even the dumbest rumors.

and the pixel phone is good only from DXO marks which is a laugh to everyone in the photography world when it comes to scores. just because they report its good does not mean that you will take better pictures than someone who knows photography with a cheaper phone.

give someone who knows about photography an iPhone 5s and i bet he/she can take pictures better than someone who has no idea pointing and shooting away on a pixel or iPhone 7plus.

I feel all you do is copy and paste articles from the internet, look up all the "cool" things that companies are doing/looking into/developing for the future, and have no real knowledge.

I'm interested in marketing not technology, so you are right.

I think there's no reason to (spend millions or billions to) make smartphones better.

thats the only way they will get better, its by spending tons of money on research and development, and purchasing new technology or acquire other companies.

okey, you are right, but what all of that for?
what can I do with my phone 5 years later I can't do now? phone cameras never get close to DSLR, but I can take nice pictures already now; the displays are fabulous, the wireless connections are fast enough, the dimensions of them are good, they are waterproof etc.
ten years passed, and we got everything we need, now it's just hype and software incompatibility what can push it further.

i don't work for apple so i don't know. and what you cant do now that you can in the future i don't know. i'm not the one working with their r and d. why don't you go work for them then.

:) thanks for the compliment, I hope they read this

It would be cool if it was an all glass design and if there were two curved screens on each side and you could see through the middle of the phone if you looked through it sideways

Pixel will be an underdog. it is not even on the same league of iphone.

i did not compliment you in anyway.
it contains a grain of irony.

the coolest would be a transparent levitating and moldable sphere with café making and cooking capabilities, with a good sense of humor. the others are for your fantasy.
