I doubt they will release an Air 2 soon based on the reports of how few they are selling compared to other models. Adding cameras increases the thickness of the device and they already have a standard dual camera iPhone that is a lot cheaper too. I think the Air was perhaps a bridge device for a foldable, as many have also predicted. I still don't understand why the Air was so expensive tbh. I think the specification compromises and a £1k price point is a hard sell in a mature mobile market where consumers are well aware of what is available for the money. The Air is very popular on here though, much like the iPhone Mini was, but I think its just too niche in 2026.Once Apple releases an Air2, which I hope they will, with upgraded cameras, stereo speakers and (slightly) better battery life, it will be my next iPhone for sure.
