Yeah it's too bad, I was seriously considering a Note 7 but decided to wait for Apple's event. Glad I waited

Sounds to me like there will no longer be a Note 7.

Like the other only one iPhone battery problem but it had been severely damaged.

I suggest if you are looking for stories of iPhones catching fire, you go over to Samsungrumors(or equivalent) as there will undoubtedly be some off gassing going on there in light of the infamous Samsung Shutdown.
