It’s because for some reason, some people have this belief that Apple should always and forever act like the company that was on the verge of bankruptcy in 1997 and could only afford to have four products in their lineup.True. Nothing wrong with a niche product. I'm definitely not saying Apple shouldn't make a fold.
I don't understand why so many people want Apple to cut their range down to the minimum number of products. I think Apple should serve more niches that are worthwhile. Making an iPhone mini every 2 or 3 generations would make some people very happy. Not me, I don't want one. Too small and cramped, but why not make it? If you ignore every niche you will eventually become irrelevant.
