I would use a front facing camera a lot. But I would use a built in mini projector even more.

lolol yea so would I. They should make the camera rotatable, like a ring inside the iphone, so you can twist it inside or outside.

if the new iphone comes with a front facing camera... brings a whole new meaning to chatroulette! i personally wouldn't use or care if the new iphone had a camera on the front.

I'm also absolutely positive that I would -never- use it. An A+ upgrade would mean for me: higher res screen (like in the rumor), a more crack resistant back like the iPod Touch, speed speed speed, better reception and more battery life.

On the software front I would like some minor multitasking so I could run two third party apps at the same time, that's enough. Faster switching between apps, more versatile springboard with more info on the start screen, and that's basically it..

No crazy things actually now I come to think of it.. Steve: do this and you sold me another one.

+1

I don't need Front Facing camera or other people chatting using up more bandwidth.

I've had a web camera for years that I never really used a lot for several reasons. One of them is because it was a very cheap webcam with low video quality, secondly not all people have them so you don’t always know when you can use them, and thirdly it was on a PC where the drivers were messing up all the time.

But that being said it was perfect for when I wanted to talk to my brother who was studying abroad, and although I’ve never used the front-facing camera on my current phone, I can see myself using it if Apple was to put in a nice one that you can easily use, and given the popularity of iPhone, if Apple pulled it off right, the other manufacturers would start incorporating front-facing cameras again and everyone could probably use it while IM-ing on any smartphone.

Almost deaf users need front facing cam on mobile to use ASL (American Sign Language) and can use Skype or iChat video conference.

They don't really need it anymore than anyone else. They can text just like anyone else...Unless you are saying deaf people are too stupid to test. Are you a deafist?
