I don't know where you all have been, but I have seen more iPhone 4s since release date than the 3g or 3gs models. In the Ohare terminal I saw tons of MOTO Droids. But more iphone 4s. Same thing in Denver and around elsewhere in my travels this summer. They are very noticeable and easy to spot since they are all black right now and distinctly designed. You all need to get out more :)
Same here. I see iPhones all over the damn place, and iPhone 4s are pretty much everywhere in Long Beach and northern OC. I see at least two or three iP4s a day when I'm out.

Yesterday at the dog park, three of us there at the same time had iPhone 4s, and another guy with a 3G was waiting for his iPhone 4 to come in the mail.

Plus, I have so many friends with iPhone 4s that I've lost count. Even one friend, who never had a smartphone until a few weeks ago, is looking into selling his brand new 3GS for a 4, because his wife is annoyed that he can't FaceTime with her. :p

And I never had a Razr until a few years ago. I've had smartphones since 2004, but when I switched to the iPhone in 2007, a friend gave me his old unlocked Razr as a cheap backup for when I didn't want to risk my iPhone. But damn, texting on that thing hurt my fingers!

The Razr was my go-to phone back when my philosophy was "it's just a phone" and "for emergencies only". It was really a convenient nice little flip phone.

I see more people who have them who I would never suspect (whatever that means!) anymore. I was turning my rental car back in the other day and saw a guy with an iP4 who looked like he just walked off the streets sitting in a chair playing with his phone. But, yes, I see way more iPhones now than ever.

If so, then why do people still fawn over mine after three years?

I've seen two 4's in the wild. That's hardly "everyone."

Or you perhaps?

I have no delusions about the antennna issue. I don't really suffer from problems due to it, but it's obvious that it exists and I have on occasion had to "not hold it that way". It is obviously an issue to anybody that's not a fanboy living in denial. It's just not a huge issue for me.

The only similarity b/t the RAZR and the iPhone is being THE phone every manufacturer wants to imitate.

This is probably so true. EVERYBODY and their mom had the Nokia 5110. Heck, it was my first cell phone when I was a teenager. I thought I was so cool getting a red face plate for it. :D

My mom, brother, and probably 90% of my friends all had this phone.

Heck, my mom still used her Nokia 5110 until about 2 years ago.

I remember being about a sophomore in High School and seeing some kid with the Nokia 5110 phone playing that snake game in the back of class, and I was soooooo jealous :p

I have 2-3 of these still sitting around. I tried to charge one up a couple months ago just to see if it still worked but I couldn't get any of them to turn on
