I will admit that this is my very first apple product. I am not impressed.

I just switched from a Blackberry about a week ago and so far, I want my blackberry back.

Once again the glitz of a slick advertising campaign glosses over actual usefull functionality.

I had best duck now to escape the ire of the applefanatics.

Why did you switch? I see your name is BlackBerry fan. If it ain't broke.

What exactly are the problems you are having with your iphone?
I believe they involve boredom and the anonymity of the Internet:

Well, you don't like the iPhone, fine. People have different needs.

But you come to an Apple forum, bash on the iPhone saying it's all glitz and advertising and expect what, praise?

Good for you, thanks for sharing the fact that you freely bought a device that didn't meet your needs.

I call troll???? and no Im not an absolute fanboy, my iphone does what I need and more. I would be totally lost without it.

Many of my friends have Blackberries and wish they had iphones.

wow

I think you name gives you away! so should we go on BB forums and post I hate BB threads! ;) just enjoy your BB different strokes for different folks!

No worries, Apple products aren't the best choice for everyone.

If you're in the US, there's a 30-day return period. You have about three weeks to return it (and use your old BB again).

Now this, .. this I don't understand. Are you really trying to say that you fell victim to a slick advertising campaign and didn't do any actual research or legwork on your own to ensure that the iPhone does what you need it to before you purchased it? Geezus.

Basically, there is no "one phone" that is perfect for every person. Some people do better with BlackBerrys. Some do better with Pres. Some do better with iPhones.

But for the love of everything man, research your purchases before you make them.

Every phone handles auto-correcting and spell checking differently.

I take it you bought your car because the commercial showed it going "vroom vroom" and didn't actually test drive one to make sure it was what you wanted, right?

My thoughts exactly... Maybe you're not well educated just yet on how to use the iPhone. Do you have any problems with getting used to the virtual keyboard? Do you want some tips on usage or apps?

so wheres the error that your having? the screen shot? or log info?

lol.. it does seem like you just walked in, looked at the pretty thing, thought oooooh thats nice- I WANT ONE! got home n realised that AT&t dont cover your area, or that you need a flash on the camera.. or even better yet, you didnt even realise you didnt like touchscreen phones!!

deary me..

Well I've had my 3GS for six day's and now I want a Mac. It makes no sense since I just got a PC in April, but I just want more Apple thing's now.

A person named blackberryfan doesn't get to call anyone else a fanatic.

If you bought the iPhone without doing your research then yes you did let the ads get to you, but that's really more your fault than apple's.

I've had just about every WinMo device there is.... I had a BB Storm.... Other than the completely worthless service AT&T provides it's majority of 3G subscribers, I love the iPhone. Love it love it love it. It's a has a few issues, but I love the fact that it's fast...it's smooth...it's intuitive...and it works the same way almost every time.

And since you're w/in your 30 days, go back. Easy enough.

I have no idea why I'm even posting, but what the heck...

First: I have YET to have a single dropped call with AT&T. People that complain about AT&T, poor service, et-al, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Check before you buy. Go to Best Buy, get a cheap GO Phone, and check your area are first! Like buying a car...do your homework!

Second: I've used Blackberry's since the old antenna days; the Curve, etc. and I am so much more productive with the iPhone than ANY of those devices.

Third: NO ONE is forcing you to use an iPhone, and/or AT&T. Don't like it, LEAVE. That simple. Go to Verizon, buy a Storm, or whatever, and BE HAPPY!

Sorry for the rant...but I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of all these posts. Same is true for any Mac/Apple product. If you like Windows 7, DELL, HP, whatever, great! Use it, be happy, and SHUT UP!!!!

Anyone wanna go to the BB forum with me and troll ....lol

Look for the thread "Blackberry is a bad berry"

Oh no my iPhone is a pile of crap.....i didn't realise i was blinded by "the glitz of a slick advertising campaign"

Quick where can i get me a blackberry storm 2!!!!

Ha ha yeah right!!!

I always have a good laugh at all the smug "Do you homework" posts. Because Apple, AT&T and their sales people would never lie, right? Never say anything to make the sale, get you signed up on that two year contract? Naaaaaaa, you can take everything they say at face value, no worries. :D

The iPhone's interface is pretty nice. Much nicer than the Blackberry. In pretty much every other way it's still the weakling of the group, however, which is probably why Blackberry and Windows Mobile are still the "standards" of the business world.
