I always have a good laugh at all the smug "Do you homework" posts. Because Apple, AT&T and their sales people would never lie, right? Never say anything to make the sale, get you signed up on that two year contract? Naaaaaaa, you can take everything they say at face value, no worries. :D

Who says anything about Apple or AT&T? When people say "do your homework" they mean read reviews, search the internet, ask people who have the iPhone for opinions, check how the network is in their area...

The iPhone's interface is pretty nice. Much nicer than the Blackberry. In pretty much every other way it's still the weakling of the group, however, which is probably why Blackberry and Windows Mobile are still the "standards" of the business world.

First off no one in there right mind would talk to an apple rep or AT&T rep and take there advice without a grain of salt. Second this entire forum makes "doing your homework" an easy reality. It isn't full of liars and you get advice from people in a pretty non-biased shove a product down your throat way vs an AT&T rep. Third google "iPhone 3GS video review" and that's enough, common sense really isn't common anymore and it's ever so more prevailent with your posts and OPs. I'm 16 and I figured out that doing my homework when choosing a product is very important and I don't buy ANYTHING without extensive reasearch and deciding whether I want ti pay x amount of money for a product. Gosh....

Are Apple and AT&T the only source for research? No. If someone is actually doing research they should visit forums like these, and look at customer reviews (both Apple & AT&T) before making their decision. I did a lot of research before getting my iphone a few months ago, and waded through Macrumors and Mactalk AU (I'm in Australia) before buying. So for someone to say that they got blinded by advertising... well, they've got no one to blame but their own impulsive self.

So you come here to bash the iPhone and to promote the BB without having any apporpriate facts before you do so?
