Iphone/Itouch screen scan lines?

I'm pretty sure I have these scan lines too on my refurb, they are quite hard to see but the 3G I exchanged did not have this problem. I am going to take my phone to the store as I am having more serious screen issues, take a look:

Try looking at it in the direct sun light.

You will really see them esp if you mover your eyes up and down the screen. Almost all portables devices have this due to the lower voltage. Some are worse then others. I have about 20 Blackberry Bolds and 10 iphones 3G and 3gs that do this at work. Some a little worse then others. I cherry picked one that does it the least but its still there. It can also get worse over time. i saw a friends iphone that was so bad i got a headache.

My iPhone 3G is just about perfect. I get lines only if I have it up to 100% brightness (like in the sunlight).

Do you think they're going to come up with a better portable screen sometime? I did notice that most cell phones/GPS devices do this.
