I haven’t really had a look at the prices here in the UK yet but I’m getting the max regardless. So couldn’t be bothered. I’m just wondering how I can get the  watch as part of the same order.

Yep, they upped the prices in Canada as well. iPhone Xs starts at $50 more than the iPhone X did. They are eventually going to price themselves out of the market...

X has stayed same price just the R gone up here.
[doublepost=1536781389][/doublepost]iPhone Xs: 64GB - £999; 256GB - £1,149; 512GB - £1,349

iPhone Xs Max: 64GB - £1,099; 256GB - £1,249; 512GB - £1,449

iPhone Xr: 64GB - £749; 128GB - £799; 256GB - £899

Soon the monthly plan for an iPhone will be the same as a lease for an entry level car.
Yep, it is getting a bit out of control.

Xr is $100 more compared to pricing of the 8 last year in Canada, so since it is $50 more in the US looked like they upped pricing by about $50 across the board in Canada.

I’ve not pre ordered since iPhone 6. What time does the flood gate open again?!

The 8 had old internals though. The Xr has the latest camera and system on chip.

8 has the same A11 chip as the X and it's single lense camera is the same as the main camera on the X (it just doesn't have the second camera or any of the portrait effects). The exterior was what was old with the 8, with basically the same design and screen from the 7 (which wasn't changed much from the 6/6s design), but updated with a glass back to support wireless charging... and the 8 also came with a price increase versus the 7.

Didn't they say that the new lens has larger pixels?

lmao, this is absolutely obscene, how can anyone justify spending this much a on a phone??

Me …..if you just use it as a phone then maybe its bad value for you ….. for me its a tool I use daily to do my job and helps me in many other aspects of my life too …. great value for money IMHO.

Really? Other countries prices have gotten even more?
The iPhone X 64 GB you could get for 1149 € in Germany. The Xs is the same now and the Xs Max 1249 €

People need to stop obsessing about price and get back to obsessing about the uniqueness of the iPhone experience, the ecosystem, the value it brings into your life.
Pricing is irrelevant.

That's very easy to say if you have lots of disposable income. The entry price of the latest model iPhones has seen a massive jump over the last few years so it's understandable complaints will be made.

Probably gonna get mine when I head out to the States next week, that should lessen the pain even with the added 8.25% tax

Yes, I don't consider those prices too high.

People do what they want with their money. Some don't mind paying £80/month for a phone while others are happy spending £100 on alcohol in clubs/pub/bars every weekend.

Each to their own.

Same here. I bought my current phone brand on eBay and saved 30%. Will do the same with the Xr for my GF. My target price will be £600 which will be possible in January-February once when market is flooded with new iPhones.

Prices in Sweden have risen with approximately 140 EUR.
Really?

Here in Finland Xs starts at 1179€ which is the same price as last year for X.

Having said this, I was 95% sure that the Max would get current X pricing i.e. 1179/1349/etc. and Xs 999/1179/etc.

But they got away with this pricing last year so...

I always buy a cheap city car. I know plenty of people who happily spend many thousands of £/$/€ more on a larger upmarket model. How can they justify spending so much more on something that does the same thing? Many have a much more expensive house than I do - how can they justify that? We just choose what we spend our money on.

Lol, brillaint, something only Timmy would say.. how many hundreds of millions of folk sharing the same experience are needed for it not to he unique?

Unless you have 1 niche app that is vital for your business, tell me something it does that a 50 dollar android can't do.. web, mail, pics, gaming, all covered....

I'm sure you don't really believe that, do you? ;)

I mean, do you derive your income from the iPhone? Then maybe…

But to just throw out a blanket statement like that is… well… not well thought through.

And they will continue to do so it seems… :(

I have to ask myself at what point is there no more value being added to justify this continual price increase.
