Yep, they upped the prices in Canada as well. iPhone Xs starts at $50 more than the iPhone X did. They are eventually going to price themselves out of the market...So much for budget IPhone costs £50 more than last year!

Yep, it is getting a bit out of control.Soon the monthly plan for an iPhone will be the same as a lease for an entry level car.
Xr is $100 more compared to pricing of the 8 last year in Canada, so since it is $50 more in the US looked like they upped pricing by about $50 across the board in Canada.X has stayed same price just the R gone up here.
[doublepost=1536781389][/doublepost]iPhone Xs: 64GB - £999; 256GB - £1,149; 512GB - £1,349
iPhone Xs Max: 64GB - £1,099; 256GB - £1,249; 512GB - £1,449
iPhone Xr: 64GB - £749; 128GB - £799; 256GB - £899
[doublepost=1536781446][/doublepost]The R has a bigger screen than the X too.
The 8 had old internals though. The Xr has the latest camera and system on chip.Yep, it is getting a bit out of control.

8 has the same A11 chip as the X and it's single lense camera is the same as the main camera on the X (it just doesn't have the second camera or any of the portrait effects). The exterior was what was old with the 8, with basically the same design and screen from the 7 (which wasn't changed much from the 6/6s design), but updated with a glass back to support wireless charging... and the 8 also came with a price increase versus the 7.The 8 had old internals though. Yes, the camera is definitely upgraded from the 8/X to the Xr/Xs. I'm just saying that the main camera in the 8 is the same at the (2017) X.Didn't they say that the new lens has larger pixels?
512GB - £1,449
lmao, this is absolutely obscene, how can anyone justify spending this much a on a phone??

That's very easy to say if you have lots of disposable income. The entry price of the latest model iPhones has seen a massive jump over the last few years so it's understandable complaints will be made.People need to stop obsessing about price and get back to obsessing about the uniqueness of the iPhone experience, the ecosystem, the value it brings into your life.
Pricing is irrelevant.
Yes, I don't consider those prices too high.
Probably gonna get mine when I head out to the States next week, that should lessen the pain even with the added 8.25% tax
Really?Prices in Sweden have risen with approximately 140 EUR.
I always buy a cheap city car. I know plenty of people who happily spend many thousands of £/$/€ more on a larger upmarket model. How can they justify spending so much more on something that does the same thing? Many have a much more expensive house than I do - how can they justify that? We just choose what we spend our money on.lmao, this is absolutely obscene, how can anyone justify spending this much a on a phone??
Lol, brillaint, something only Timmy would say.. how many hundreds of millions of folk sharing the same experience are needed for it not to he unique?People need to stop obsessing about price and get back to obsessing about the uniqueness of the iPhone experience, the ecosystem, the value it brings into your life.

Unless you have 1 niche app that is vital for your business, tell me something it does that a 50 dollar android can't do.. web, mail, pics, gaming, all covered....Me …..if you just use it as a phone then maybe its bad value for you ….. for me its a tool I use daily to do my job and helps me in many other aspects of my life too …. great value for money IMHO.
I'm sure you don't really believe that, do you?People need to stop obsessing about price and get back to obsessing about the uniqueness of the iPhone experience, the ecosystem, the value it brings into your life.

And they will continue to do so it seems…But they got away with this pricing last year so...
