Apologies if this has been covered. I'm aware that we can reserve through the upgrade programme link and pay in full, but does anyone know if we have reserve through the upgrade programme link but opt for 'Apple Payments' when in-store instead? (ie. the lesser publicised 0% 20 month payment plan without AppleCare).

It seems as if Apple haven't actually provided a route for people who would like this option to go down.

I could pay now and reserve in Edinburgh but i highly doubt the apple employees there would let my family member who lives in Edinburgh pick it up and post it to me. Oh well - hopefully there's stock in soton at 6am. Istocknow.com is showing no stock for my local store

They will let someone else collect it. If you reserve through the browser you have an option to allow someone to pick up on your behalf.

So i can pay now, reserve and let someone pickup? I would prefer getting it from my local store though. But istocknow is not showing any stock :(

Edit: oos in Edinburgh now. Im hoping so bad that my local store have it at 6am

Was about to get through checkout for Matte 7+ 128GB in Glasgow when I was rejected by the website. Now iStockNow is showing 0 stock for ALL PHONES AND MODELS across Europe. I'm thinking maybe the reservations were taken down rather than the stock not being available? I hope so, can't imagine there was much traffic at this time.

How are people getting reservations at this time of night? It says 6:00 for me? Am I missing something?

Not actually getting reservations. Just seeing stock available to pay now and pickup tomorrow. It's still not clear on if this gets first dibs and leftovers go to reservations in the morning or if it's split so both avenues get a fair crack tho, as there seems to be confusion.

Thanks for explaining, makes sense!

Apple have provided a route on their website, it's part of the upgrade plan and you just tell them at the store which you want to do when you go too pick up.

Wow! People must have been amazingly fast! Nothing for me this morning :(

This system is a joke.

I found one to reserve this morning (even though I'd have to drive for 1hr20m or so to get there.)

Logged in.

Then it said my Apple ID had been locked for security reasons. Had to enter countless details to unlock it, by which time it had gone. There was no reason whatsoever for that to happen.

Thanks Apple.

I think all of the London stores had a black 128 pluses. I chose selfridges as this is the closest one to my work, but had no luck and somebody took it before i chose the appointment time. Btw, do you think JB plus will appear anytime soon?

If the script is any example, it looks like white city, Stratford and Reading had 2 Matte black plus 128Gb.

Best to be logged in first. That's what I did yesterdat.

Anyone know if a Jet Black has shown up at all yet for reservations?

Also is there any way to get emailed stock alerts in the UK?

Thanks
