Thanks for informing me of this one. I'm going to skip the iPhone now, I can't wait another 2 months. I would much rather have a PocketPC with an iPhone skin on it. THANKS AGAIN!

Clone / counterfit products have existed for years but would you seriously trust this thing to work day in day out. Apparently apple have 500 software engineers beavering away ironing out bugs as we speak before, hopefully a quality iphone is launched. Is this chinese company so much smarter as they can release thier rip off in a few weeks from the start of the project? No they have missed out a huge and vital step which costs money and time but can't missed out if a quality product is to be deliverd. That's quality assurance, quality control, testing testing testing and more testing. Unfortunately the complete disregard of this vital step is why we are swimming in a sea of crap low cost disposable products. Well known high street names are also taking this approach and use their hapless customers to debug their products - Nokia comes to mind, after my experience with the 6280 I will never choose their phones again .

China rips everything off and then stupid cheap people buy it beause it costs less than the real item. The rip offs look the same but use 5 year old technology and are poorly made. The polystation is an example of this with its atari like graphics

That is for the most part true howevever from what I have read Meizu is the only chineese company to make solid products that work day in and day out with fairly recent technology like a 8gig flash player that is being sold at Walgreens along with the 4 and 2 gb models. So their phone might decent to a solid product.
