I was going to go in to the store to try to get a new one cause I scratched mine up bad but with the Vista wallpaper stuck like that and it not being in my wallpapers folder - they might catch on.... any ideas?

Have you tried to restore it with a custom made pwned 2.0.1?

Try a restore of 2.0.2 if your going to return it and then it should wipe the device, the upgrade does a no wipe during install.
 
Hmm think I am going to wait till the dev team releases pwnage for 2.0.2 What is 2.0.2 supposed to improve anyway? Probably nothing much a few security holes and minor bugs.
 
I still don't think people should be using the 2.0.1 firmware to jailbreak 2.0.2...
 
I was worried as I pwned a 2g phone running 1.1.4 to 2.0, then went to 2.0.1 made my phone much smoother and faster and got rid of Cydia which was uber crashy.. Was initially worried that 2.0.2 might cause issues as some folks where saying I would have to re-pwn to 2.0 before upgrading. Not so ! Put 2.0.2 on last night. Seems no different, but hey no real loss.

you were going to take it in because YOU scratched it?

don't you find something wrong with that?
 
I've been reading that updating to 2.02 might cause issues unlocking iPhone down the road. Why?

because 2.0.2 also upgrades the modem software from what I hear which might potentially cause problems for those who want to unlock their 3G down the road.
 
Unlocked 2G flakey after 2.02 upgrade

2G iphone 8Gn Pwned to 2.0 with original devteam version, upgraded from jailbroken and activated on 1.14 using tmobile sim.

Worked great on 1.14 - very reliable, some crashes (mostly apps) after upgrading to 2.0

Upgraded to 2.01 through itunes (don't really care about non-approved apps). Upgraded just fine, still activated on tmobile. Seemed to work ok

Upgraded to 2.02 through itunes - now the iphone is extremely flaky on the data network. The edge network frequently does not work, goes to sleep and the phone must be hard reset. Compound this with Mobileme issues! My iphone never had issues accessing the internet, weather or stock market built in apps before 2.02 and now I am doing resets regularly. Seems that any issues 2.02 corrected for the 3G is offset by the issues it created in my 2G.

Anyone else?
