Wow what a little biatch. I definitely do not think she meant to add you as a friend. Oops!

hahaha, does she have downs? Random as **** how she added you on FB.

Why did she add you anyway where did she get your adress or name too add you? sounds like an advert for MobileMe lol

punish her

you have plenty of info to get your phone back and press charges. Mine was stolen 10 days after I got it and I have absolutely no way to track it, I wish they added me on facebook. Crappy people like this need to be punished. Its insane that all they have to do is pop in a new sim and its theirs. Dont count on the slightest bit of help from Apple or AT&T either, talk to the police.

Do you think that somehow when she sycned it to her iTunes his email came up as a suggested friend request or something because of the FB App? Idk..I don't even use FB.

Hahah, definitely suspect. And apparently it's a 3G not an iPhone 4 unless the said "perpetrator" can't tell the difference.

Not only is she shallow enough to steal the phone, but the moron, adds you as a friend on FB, and then tells the world that she stole one.

Listen to what everyone is telling you. Show the police your box with the serial number, IMEI number on the iPhone, tell them you lost it at the airport and a girl claims she found one at the airport, and for some reason added me on FB.
The police can track where she lives, and they can see that the phone is yours.

Pleasssseeeee do this and bust her, she is so stupid and it would be justice and its best man.

Ouch bro. I apologize for calling you a troll now! You really should report it to the local authorities with her information as well as those screenshots/links to the specific posts.

Simply report it to police. Facebook should cooperate with the authorities and provide an IP address. They'll her down :D

If you are feeling sympathetic, warn her for one last time before going ahead. That's what I'd do.

Well, seeing how dumb she is, I'd say it's still on. Contact the police, see if you can call the phone and have them trace it or contact ATT. I'm sure they can triangulate it. Can try and call the police in whatever city she is in and say you have evidence that she stole it (posts on Facebook). Hope you get this idiot in jail or get lots of financial compensation.

I'm assuming he knows her full name and the city she lives in. An ip trace probably isn't even needed, phonebook might do the trick.

Wow. I really hope you get your phone back. She's a douche.

Please report back. This reminds me of that story a couple years back when they got had his sidekick stolen by some dumb teenage girl and tracked her every move to get it back. She did get punished for it in the end.

I wouldn't warn her at all. Bust her dumb a**. Keep us updated.

I had my iPhone stolen once before - I loaded up MobileMe, tracked the phone and the police had it back in my hand within 60 mins

Fire up MobileMe and track it if you have MobileMe - otherwise, I believe you can also track it at the AT&T website - pray to God that you turned on 'find my iPhone'

Wow. Bust that moron. I would be so mad and would bust her without hesitation.

Some people eh...steal a phone and then post on facebook. Brilliant!

Make sure you provide a screen shot of the FB page with your police report. You'll be put in touch with an HPD or Harris County detective after you file the police report, they will be able to subpoena the IP address for the FB user and obtain a local address. You have no recourse unless you file a theft police report. Also, make sure you have your serial number off of your original IP4 box so they can match up the phone. Good luck.

Make sure to take screen shots of her facebook pages with the evidence so she can't remove it later.

And if you'v already filled the police report, just call them and give them this info. With her phone number she's pretty much caught.

BTW, putting your phone number on ANY website is stupid. :)

i hope the media picks this one up. Most people don't realize that apple and at&t do nothing to deter theft and help people who had their phone stolen. I know its not their fault people have their stuff stolen but they wont even blacklist the imei to stop someone from using it on their network! how much could that cost? whoever stole my phone probably popped in a new sim, walked into at&t and activated it no questions asked. this equals that many more sales for them so what do they care
