It just says "bug fixes"

Mine seems stuck half way through. But it moves a little once in a while.

UPDATE: It completed. Phone restarted. No visible changes.

Finished downloading, iPhone is updating. It displayed "Software Update" on the screen and now displays an Apple and a progress bar, which is currently stalled at just under 50%.

Mine has completed successfully, but it took a good 5 minutes to update, so be patient. No new apps, just bug fixes.

minor update

Looks like it's a minor update (bug fixes).

I was hoping for new widgets. :(

The iphone manual at the apple site has also been updated (it's dated today) - but I have no idea what with.

When performing the update, be sure to be patient. Do not worry when the progress bar stalls at 50% for several minutes...it will continue.

Definitely no new widgets. I'd like to see a list of bug fixes, so I could know what has changed.

Update complete. No issues, so far. Cursory check of WiFi (Safari) and made a call - no problems.

Noticed both firmware and "software" updated. Progress bar slows/stops for a bit about half way through (maybe a minute or two), then completes as one would expect.

i used jailbreak and the update failed, it is now saying i cant use it without restoring it. I guess there goes my ringtones

Well that sucked. Security updates only. Thanks Steve.

Honestly glad they whatever it is and we assume it's the Safari patch (fingers crossed).

Mine crashed on update. Anyone else have this issue? It had to restore it. Then re-sync all my backed up data from last night.

PPTP VPN works reliably

I noticed that the PPTP VPN now works reliably for me when connecting to my corporate network. Which was not the case before.

Has anyone with the 'hacked' ringtones done an update? I tried mine and it came back with an error message. Doing a restore now.
