Apple could simply change the region of my main iTunes account. But they refuse to do this. So now I need to keep switching between my main account and fake accounts.

So it is Apple their fault.

Does this "https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201389" not work?

What a fail. OP isn't saying he hates all phones now.

As for OP, I have no idea why Apple won't let you change your account to reflect the country you currently live in. Maybe try contacting them to see if there's a way to do so. I would have thought you could change your address, including country, as people move about all the time.

You definitely can "https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201389"... but perhaps there are restrictions on the countries

I still have money on my main account which is why Apple won’t allow it.

Sell the phone and get an android then. It’s on YOU if you keep doing something you don’t like. No one is forcing you to do this. Sell your phone and get something else.

After the iPhone X experience, my next phone will most likely be an Android phone for the first time.

I’m on a 2 year cycle with Phone’s usually, so only around 1 more year to go when I get a new phone.

The biggest pain is that I bought so many Apps from the App Store which I cannot carry to Android.
