iPhone X iPhone vs No Headphone jack vs getting an Android device?

Not related to the OP’s question, but they Airpods solved that issue for me with the headphone jack. Yes, I understand they don’t have the sound quality that wired headphones do, but I think for the majority, that likely suffices, especially how Bluetooth sound is increasingly becoming better.

Having to recharge them every single time especially the case is not as convenient as just plugging in into the headphone jack.

Still don't get the argument or "threat" to change to Android.

I mean there is still iPhones being sold with the headphone jack, why not get one of those if its on the top 3 list of wanted features on the phone.

When it comes to people being upset because you can't connect an auxcable and charge at the same time in older cars, it actually works better with the Belkin adapter I linked earlier, it's ONE thing less to plug-in.

Don't get me wrong, I still think it was a bad choice of Apple to get rid of the connection, IMO it was a bit too early.
But on the other hand, we don't know all the reasons behind the decision.

I can tell you don’t own the Airpods by this statement, because with the battery pack and efficiency of the battery life as it is, you don’t have to charge them ‘every single time’. Assuming I’m not using my AirPods for phone calls, I rarely charge my Airpods on a regular basis. Even to your point, -15 minutes of charge is equivalent to three hours of usage pending.-

Yes. I bought the 7 plus without a jack and now the X. The headphone jack is not a deal breaker for me. Firstly they supply lightning headphones in the box and I only ever really used the Apple headphones anyway even when there was a headphone jack. I’ve had the airpods for almost 18 months now and really don’t like using wired headphones anymore.

I really don’t want a non iPhone as my daily driver so it would take a lot for me to switch.

AirPodS doesn’t disprove what you said prior was inaccurate. I was merely indicating what you said was worded inappropriately.

I question alot of what you’re saying, first you stated you “Have to recharge them every singe time”, (which it is a *Rechargeable* device), then you followed up with a picture of some Random Airpods stating “They don’t last me through the whole day”, which doesn’t mean anything, because we know Battery life is variable for everyone Pending usage, which is why I listed where the battery pack life, charging rate (How often) and overall usage for calls, music/media , ect .

Now you’re saying “The battery doesn’t hold as good as it should.” Like you’re insinuating they might be defective, or the Airpods are not up to your expectations.

Sounds like you’re nothing more than trying to bash them for the sake of interjecting an argument about the 3.5 mm Jack. If you’re claiming they don’t hold a charge like you’re stating, then take it to Apple and have them replace versus making questionable excuses.

For some reason I'm not much for listening to music through headphones. I feel too isolated at work if I do this, missing out on things.

A couple years ago I bought a set of noise cancelling headphones (wired) just before a bluetooth version was released. For use on planes to cancel out engine noise. I normally listen to music in the car through USB or bluetooth.

This is exactly what I was referring to in my earlier post, You just continue to make excuse(S) why the AirPods are not sufficient in saying “They don’t hold a charge” and “I have to charge them every single time”, etc. You’re trying to tell me that Apple mass produced millions of these devices and sell them in high volumes, and now you’re saying “They are poorly designed” because of what one person says on the Internet? That’s completely asinine and untrue. Again, your experiences don’t carry over for everyone else’s. That’s perfectly fine the AirPods don’t meet your own expectations and you prefer the 3.5 mm Jack, but don’t say things that are completely biased and untrue to fit your narrative.
