ericvmazzone, brighten up. I don't quite understand what 'friend' implies - that he isn't a friend because he pulled me in with him..? I would've done the same if people were chucking me in! It was a joke, I was stupid and forgot about my phone. I'm over it. It's a shame there's always one righteous, stuck up imbecile, mais c'est la vie.
I'm about to go on holiday for a month, so I'll leave it in rice and a warm place for that time - when I get back I'll try and get apple to replace it for the £146 ($199) water damage replacement - that isn't a bad deal really. Quite expensive mistake, but not that worst it could've been.
