Anybody find you always accidentally take screen shots? Mostly in the morning when switching the alarm off.

The flaw comes from the removal of the home button.

Yup. That's one of many design flaws with the all screen iPhones.

Care to explain how you end up screenshotting while turning off an alarm? As many have pointed out, the Stop button is on the display well away from either of the physical buttons required for a screenshot

How is this possible? You hit stop to stop the alarm, not power button/volume.

I didn't even know you could stop your alarm with the side buttons. i usually just tap the snooze or stop button on the screen.

If you opt to stop the alarm with the side buttons, you need to grip the phone from both sides, hence why one of the volume buttons also gets pressed together with the power button = screenshot.

It’s a silly way to stop the alarm, but I know why people do it - if your phone’s laying flat on your bed stand, you can’t see the on screen “Stop” or “Snooze” buttons so the easiest way to stop the alarm without lifting up the phone is to feel for the side buttons.

There’s a simple solution though - use an adjustable stand to rest your phone on. That way, you can tap the screen either during the night to check the time or to Snooze/Stop your alarm in the morning. :D

Missing an “in my opinion” there.

But hey, you gotto get the attention...

I repeatedly mistakenly take screenshots all the time. I have to go through my screenshots album to delete them every day.
This is driving me nuts too. I figured a way around it on my own. Couldn’t find answer in the web so I just kept playing with my phone. If you turn on assistive touch and create your own gesture and apply that to your custom button navigation that is on your AssistiveTouch button you can put a lock screen option attached to your gesture and don’t have to use side button to put your phone to sleep. Hope this helps.

I’ll have to give that a try. Thank you for the suggestion.

I realized I added extra step that wasn’t needed. Ok. Much easier way. Go to accessibility and turn on assistive touch then go to custom top level menu right below that and tap on custom. Brings up choices. Choose lock screen. That is it. Done. Sorry about first way I offered.
