My X always had worst signal strength of the iPhones I've had. Drops from LTE to 4G often, etc. I work in Tempe, and I'm lucky to get 1.5mbps most days. When I was at Disneyland though - 80mbps smoking fast on AT&T.

The Xs Max seems to be better but I haven't been out enough to test it just yet.

Oh there’s a surprise, the newer iteration fixes issues the previous model had. Must be a coincidence because surely the R&D department tested all components and features throughly before releasing the X to market.

FWIW, it’s not carrier related. It’s a hardware issue.

It's no doubt these phones. Apple is getting hammered right now with complaints! I wouldn't be shocked if there wasn't a recall
Not a chance. Haven’t you been following Apple’s trends with product flaws? :)

They almost NEVER admit there’s a defect in their product. They just quietly fix it in the next one, or tout it as an upgraded feature.
